Background:Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation(PAF)is one of the most common clinical arrhythmia.Although radiofrequency catheter ablation for the treatment of atrial fibrillation in recent years continues to mature and develop, but some patients treated with radiofrequency catheter ablation still recurred atrial fibrillation, and the recurrence rate was high.Looking for indicators to predict the recurrence of PAF after radiofrequency catheter ablation is important improving the surgical successful rate and guiding significance for clinical work. Objective:To investigate the influence of Pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH)on the late recurrence of with patients PAF after radiofrequency catheter ablation. Methods:Retrospective study a total of 300 patients with PAF who had taken the first time radiofrequency catheter ablation at the Fujian Union Medical College Hospital Department of Cardiology, from January 2013 to October 2016 follow-up visit regularly and collect the information of clinical data.To observe the 100 PAF patients with PAH,200 PAF patients don't merge PAH as the control group.PAH and related clinical characters were evaluated by the single factors and Logistic regression analysis.Results:Follow-up results showed that there were 34 patients with early recurrence, and the early arrhythmia recurrence rate was 11.3%;there were 22 patients with late recurrence, including 19 cases of atrial fibrillation and 3 cases of atrial flutter, and the late recurrence rate was 7.3%.The single factor analysis showed the PAH(P=0.001),early recurrence(P=0.014)and LAD(P=0.023)had significant effect on late recurrence after PAF ablation.Logistic regression analysis showed that PAH(P=0.049,OR=1.053,95%CI:1.000-1.109)was independently related to PAF late recurrence. Conclusion:PAH is a predictive factor of late recurrence of PAF after radiofrequency catheter ablation.
