Objectives: To study the effects of preoperative nutrition support on nutrition status and quality of life of colorectal cancer patients.Methods: Record Basic data of 51 colorectal cancer patients admitted to oncological surgery of The first affiliated hospital of xiamen university during September 2016 to January 2017,planning to receive surgical treatment,include: sex,age,height,weight,BMI,neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy or not,tumor stage,etc;laboratory terms include: hemoglobin(HGB),albumin(ALB),prealbumin(PA).Then under the guidance of researcher,patient independently completed two scales: PG-SGA(The part of the patient),EORTC QLQ-C30 V3.0(The Chinese version).The patients were randomly divided into nutrition group and control group according to NRS2002 Assessment Scale(?3).The control group was treated with traditional method of preoperative routine diet + standard radical resection of colorectal cancer and early postoperative total parenteral nutrition,gastrointestinal function recovered gradually from liquid,semi liquid diet until the general food transition.The nutrition group received enteral nutrition combined with parenteral nutrition support for 5 days in the traditional method of preoperative routine diet based on + standard radical resection of colorectal cancer and early postoperative total parenteral nutrition support gastrointestinal function recovery after gradually from liquid,semi liquid diet until the general food transition.Parameters including weight,BMI,ALB,HGB,PA,PG-SGA,EORTC QLQ-C30 were measured and compared on admission(preoperative period),the day of surgery(surgery day)and on the 30 th day after operation(postoperative period).Result: This study was find out the change of nutritional status and quality of life of nutrition group and control groups before and after surgery.ALB,PA,quantitative PGSGA values occurred in patients with significant changes(P <0.05),hinting surgery reduces the nutritional status of 51 patients.This study also found that 51 patients after the operation feelings of fatigue and pain are more obvious.And physical function,role function,social function decline,indicating surgery can reduce the quality of life of patients.We seen the significant difference of PA on surgery day between nutrition group and control group(P <0.05),but,we haven't seen the significant difference of ALB,HGB and quality of life of colorectal cancer patients on surgery day between nutrition group and control group.And significant differences of ALB,HGB,PA and most of quality of life on the 30 th day after operation were found(P <0.05),indicating preoperative enteral and parenteral nutrition support improves the nutritional status and postoperative physical function,role function,social function,and symptoms of pain,loss of appetite and fatigue of colorectal cancer patients.Conclusions: 1,Preoperative nutrition support can improve surgery day and postoperative the nutritional status.2,Preoperative nutrition support can improve postoperative quality of life of patients.
