Current Situation And Analysis Of Infectious Disease Prevention And Control In Taiyuan

Objective: The aim of the study was to evaluate the status of the prevention and control of infectious disease in 143 Hospitals in Taiyuan city using the method of quantitative classification management;to explore the situation of health administrative punishment of the prevention and control of infectious disease at medical institutions in Taiyuan city,and to provide basis for the development of hospital infectious diseases prevention and intervention measures.Methods: 143 hospitals were analyzed which was attached to health supervision institute in Taiyuan Municipal Health Bureau,based on on-site view,access to information and on-site inquiry.The classification management of infectious disease prevention and control work were quantified.the number,type,punishment basis,amount,illegal facts of health administrative punishment at all levels medical institutions of infectious disease prevention and control from 2014 to 2016 in Taiyuan City were analyzed using descriptive analysis.Results: 1.Among 143 hospitals,76.9% and 20.3% hospitals were evaluated grade A and B respectively according to method of quantitative classification management.The major problems of infectious disease prevention and control in hospitals were infectious disease control,medical waste disposal and pathogen biological laboratory biosecurity.The ratio of the three sub-indexes is 63.3%,67.8% and 94.2% respectively.2.There were 372 cases of health administrative penalties in medical institutions of infectious disease prevention and control from 2014 to 2016 in Taiyuan City.There were 86 cases in 2016,183 cases in 2015 and 103 cases in 2014.Cases punishment basis mainly for the Regulations on the administration of vaccine circulation and vaccination were accounting for 3.5% and Disinfection management measures were accounting for 18%.The penalty amount of 10.09 million yuan.Cases punishment basis mainly for the Regulations on the administration of medical waste were accounting for 78.5%.The total amount of punishment was 30.58 million yuan.Conclusion: 1.The current situation of infectious disease prevention and control in Taiyuan was better.However,the infectious disease control,medical waste disposal and pathogen biological laboratory biosecurity should be improved.2.Among the administrative penalties of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases,the medical waste disposal was the major problem that we should pay more attention.
