Objective:To compare the clinical curative effect of Saccharomyces boulardii and nystatin treatment of Candida esophagitis throught the drug clinical trial of the two drugs. And discuss the clinical efficacy and safety of Saccharomyces boulardii when treat for Candida esophagitis. Methods:A single center, prospective, open label,non-inferiority trial was designed. The studing objects that meet both the inclusion criteria and the exclusion criteria were randomly divided into Saccharomyces boulardii group(45 cases)and nystatin group(44cases).Two groups of patients were given oral bulashi yeast powder and Nystatin Tablets treatment respectively. After the end of treatment, gastroscopy was used to evaluate the curative effect, and the difference of cure rate between the two groups was compared by non inferiority test. Results:The cure rate of Saccharomyces boulardii group and nystatin group was 68.9% and63.6%.respectively.Non inferiority test was used to calculate the statistics u =3.027,p=0.0013.Reject the null hypothesis, that the cure rate of Saccharomyces boulardii non inferior to nystatin.Chi square test showed that there was no significant difference between the effective percentages of two groups(were 91.1% and 93.2%,respectively,p=1.000).While the incidence of adverse reactions were 2.2% and 22.7%,respectively,showed that the incidence of adverse reactions of boulardii group wassignificantly lower than that of nystatin group, the difference was statistically significant(p=0.003).Conclusion:The cure rate of Saccharomyces boulardii was non inferior to nystatin when treat for Candida esophagitis, and the incidence of adverse reactions is low, which can be used as one of the treatment options for the treatment of Candida esophagitis.
