Objective:With open of two-child policy in China and the development of medical technology,maternal complications and critically ill pregnant women are increasing,and maternal mortality were higher in recent years.Although critically ill pregnant women reported are more and more,but because of pregnancy and complications in clinical work can be interacted,which may obscure the severity of actual condition and make the provide clinical reference the data produce the subjective larger factors,and critically ill pregnant women of economy and education and medical level of each hospital is not balanced,resulting in disease distribution of critically ill pregnant women in ICU is different.This paper discusses 216 cases of ICU the general situation and maternal and infant outcomes of critical pregnant women in our hospital in recent years,which can provide reliable clinical data for the protection of critical pregnant women and perinatal life.Methods:Retrospective analysis general situations of 216 cases of critically ill pregnant women of the first hospital of Shanxi Medical University from April 1,2011 to April1,2016 in the ICU nearly five years(composed of age,gestational age,total hospitalization,treatment of severe maternal and perinatal,cause of diseases),referral and referral,regular check(not more than 5 times)and regular check(< 5)and effects of different choice of termination of pregnancy on maternal and infant outcomes.Results:(1)The primary cause of the critically ill pregnant women admitted to our hospital ICU is hypertensive disorders in pregnancy,(severe preeclampsia and eclampsia and HELLP syndrome are mainly formed)and postpartum hemorrhage(placenta previa and placental abruption are mainly formed),which followed is pregnancy complicated with heart disease;(2)There was a significant difference compared referral with non referral in the risk of maternal and fetal death(P < 0.05),Moreover,the mortality rate of pregnant women and perinatal babies was relatively low;(3)There was a significant difference compared to the risk of death of maternal and fetal death in regular check(check more than 5 times)and non regular antenatal checks(check the number < 5)(P < 0.05);(4)For different reasons and the time of termination of pregnancy,the mortality risk of maternal and fetal was statistically different(P < 0.05);Compared cesarean section with vaginal delivery,perinatal death risk was statistically different(P < 0.05),but the difference between a severe maternal death risk was no significant difference(P > 0.05).Conclusions:(1)Most of the studies at home and abroad show that the main reasons of the critically ill pregnant women admitted to the hospital ICU is hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and postpartum hemorrhage;(2)Strengthen the prenatal screening and management of pregnant women can reduce the risk of critical pregnant women from high-risk to critical,and improve maternal and perinatal survival rate;(3)Under the premise of ensuring the safety of critical pregnant women,as far as possible to extend the gestational age of the fetus to 34 weeks and later,which can significantly reduce the mortality of the fetus.
