Use Of Sexangle Flap In Web Space For The Treatment Of Congenital Syndactyly

Objective:To investigate a new method for reconstruction of the web space in congenital syndactyly and to observe its clinical efficacy.Methods:Thirty-one children with congenital syndactyly of Shanxi children hospital were collected from October 2014 to March 2016,whose ages were from one years old to three years old,including 19 boys and 12 girls.The postoperative follow-up time of 31 children was 11 months~2.5 years.17 cases of congenital syndactyly children treated by sexangle flap in web space were selected as the experimental group,and 14 case treated by rectangular flap in web space were selected as control group.Observation index that could reflect the long-term outcome were collected.At last,apply SPSS20.0 software and then process statistical analysis.The indicated levels were ? = 0.05,P <0.05 indicated that the difference was statistically significant.Results:Two groups of postoperative results were satisfactory.The skin-grafting rate of two groups,the rectangular flap group and the sexangle flap group,is 100% and 13% respectively.The sexangle flap group effect is better than the rectangular flap group in the index of the duration of operation,the healing time,the score of Vancouver Scar Scale and VAS,the score of the web-creep and TAM.Conciusion:The surgical treatment of congenital syndactyly with rectangular flap and sexangle flap in web space can be satisfied with the function and shape of the finger.The operation mode of sexangle flap in web space could reduce skin graft,have good hand appearance closed to normal.Sexangle flap in web space is easy to master.Clinical effects are satisfying.
