Objective:To study clinical characteristics and prognoses of patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)complicated sub-clinical hypothyroidism(SCH).Methods:Totally 369 patients who were admitted in our hospital from October 2015 to April2016 with CHD diagnosed by angiography were enrolled in this study. They were divided into CHD+SCH group(n=101)and CHD group(n=268)according to whether combined with SCH.Recorded the basic cilnical data, respectively,of 369 patients(age, gender,BMI,smoking history, hypertention, diabete mellitus type 2,myocardial infarction and blood routine, lipid levels, liver renal function, blood coagulation,LVEF,LVDd),coronary angiography characteristics(lesion vessels, location, diffuse and the degree of stenosis)and followed-up the incidence of MACE events of 6 months after discharge(repetition PCI,again angina pectoris, heart failure, stroke and cardiac death).Applied statistical methods to collect and analyze these data.Clinical characteristics, coronary angiographic date and prognoses were compared and analyzed between two groups.Result:(1)In CHD+SCH group, the component proportion of women was significantly higher than in the CHD group, and the component ration of patients with smoking history was significantly lower than in the CHD group(48.5% vs.23.1%,30.7% vs.54.1%,respectively,P<0.001).And,percentage of patients with hypertention(72.3%),carotid plaque(54.5%)were significantly higher than those of CHD group(60.1%,35.5%,P<0.05).(2)Compared with CHD group, there were significant increase in level of total cholesterol [(4.71±1.46)vs.(4.24±1.09)mmol/L ],low density lipoprotein-cholesterol[(2.70±0.87)vs.(2.43±0.92)mmol/L ],apolipoprotein B [(0.87±0.25)vs.(0.80±0.23)mmol/L ],platelet distribution width [(17.06±0.59)vs.(16.85±0.71)mmol/L],fibrinogen[(3.93±0.91)vs.(13.61±0.89)mmol/L],in CHD+SCH group(P<0.05 all).(3)There was no dramatic difference in characteristics of coronary artery lesion between two groups.(4)The incidence rate of MACE events between two groups had no statistical difference. Conclusion:There is a high incidence of plaque in patients with coronary heart disease complicated SCH,and often accompanied by hypertention, lipid metabolism disorder, coagulation abnormal and other cardiovascular risk factors,so they shoud be intervened to delay the progress of atherosclerosis disease.
