ObjectiveTo analyze the effect of standard endoscopic variceal ligation or joint endoscopic injection of tissue adhesive on first-ever cirrhosis esophageal varices bleeding patients.Methods97 patients were collected, with cirrhosis esophageal varices bleeding and firstly accepting successful endoscopic hemostasis from February 2012 to June 2014,which were divided into two groups according to the follow-up treatment options. The treatment group of 49 cases received regular endoscopic treatment, while the control group of 48 cases were only treated with conservative therapy. The therapeutic schedule, change of varicose vein, complications and mortality rate of rebleeding were recorded and analyzed.ResultsThe treatment group got a total patients of 49 cases, which combined 22 cases of GOV1,12 cases of GOV2,4 cases of GOV3.the age of patients ranged from 25 to 72.And male 30,female 19,the sex ratio was almost 1.6:1.After 2-3 times endoscopic therapies, the treatment group got an esophageal varices(EV)remission rate of 100%,and a gastric varices(GV)elimination rate of 93.75%.During the follow-up period, the EV recurrent, rebleeding and mortality: 1 month were 2.04%,0%,0%,12 months were 16.33%,4.08%,0%,20 months were 20.40%,14.29%,4.08%,with no gastric varices bleeding(GVB)occurrence.Respectively, the control group, has a total patients of 48 cases, which combined 21 cases of GOV1,10 cases of GOV2,7 cases of GOV3.the age of patients ranged from 26 to 74.Male 31,female 17,the sex ratio was 1.8:1.During the follow-up period, the EV recurrent, rebleeding and mortality: 1 month were 4.17%,2.08%,2.08%,12 months were 41.67%,33.33%,8.33%,20 months were 72.92%,56.25%,20.83%,with a GVB rate of 18.75%.ConclusionRegular gastroscopy and continuous endoscopic treatment for 2-3 times are necessary to alleviate the EV level and eliminate the GV after bleeding first,in order to reduce the rate of rebleeding and mortality.
