Objective:To analyze the survival situation of the patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma over the world by the time, and to provide the basic research data and effect evaluation for prevention and treatment of oral squamous cell carcinoma. Methods:An database was performed to analyze the oral squamous carcinoma based on the whole people, which were organized by the information from the CJFD,CBM,EMBASE,Wang-fang database and Pub Med,time from January,1970 to December,2016.The information brought into the database had the strict standard, which were the anatomy of the rang(including buccal mucosa, floor of mouth, anterior tongue, alveolar ridge, retromolar trigone, hard palate),pathological typing(squamous cell carcinoma),data from the national or regional population-based survival data. The relative survival rate was used as the index. The relative survival rate and the change of oral squamous cell carcinoma between different countries and regions were compared. Results: A total of 118 articles were collected. After screening, the literature would be retained for the survival and relative survival of oral squamous cell carcinoma, deleted of incomplete information on survival rate,a total of 49 articles met the inclusion criteria, which were a total of 14 articles in Chinese and 35 articles in English.By comparison,we found that the relative survival rate of oral squamous cell carcinoma in different cities in China showed a gradual upward trend with a certain gap compared with the western developed countries in the same period. The gap the level of diagnosis and treatment of oral squamous cell carcinoma, between domestic areas was large, the oral cancer treatment level Shanghai,Taiwan and other regions of was higher, the relative survival rate was also high, relative survival rate of oral squamous cell carcinoma showed a steady increase by the time in Shanghai, the level of survival rate of patients of oral squamous cell carcinoma was quite with the same period of the western developed countries.Foreign data showed that the relative survival rate of oral squamous cell carcinoma was higher in Europe and the United States, while in South America and Africa was lower.the relative survival rate of oral squamous cell carcinoma in male patients was lower than that in female patients in most countries and regions. Conclusion: The survival rate of oral squamous cell carcinoma increased by the time, but the overall was still a low level relatively. The survival rate of oral squamous cell carcinoma had improved in China, which close to or reached the level of western developed countries in some areas, and had a certain gap in some areas.
