Objective To evaluate the accuracy of the components position in Super PATH minimally invasive total hip arthroplasty.Method From May 2015 to December 2016,294patients(326hips)undergoing initial total hip arthroplasty(THA)were included.THA was performed by Super PATH approach in 71 cases(76 hips)in group A and the components are offered by Micro Port Orthopedics Inc.THA was performed by Hardinge approach in 76 cases(85 hips)in group B and the components are offered by the the Stryker Company.THA was performed by Hardinge approach in 75 cases(83 hips)in group C and the components are offered by the Smith Nephew Company.THA was performed by Hardinge approach in 72cases(82 hips)in group D and the components are offered by the B.BRAUN Medical International Trading Company.There was no significant difference in gender,age,body mass index(BMI),Harris hip score(HHS)and type of disease between 4 groups.X-ray of postoperative pelvic is measured and recorded after three months in hip raiographic parameters,such as abduction of acetabular component,proportion of abduction within safe zone,anterversion,proportion of anterversion within safe zone,eccentricity of femoral component,recovery rate of eccentricity,varus-valgus of femoral stem and limp length discrepancy.Position of the components are analyzed by comparison among 4 groups.Result There was no significant difference in abduction,proportiom of abduction within safe zone,proportion of femoral stem at neutral position and limp length discrepancy among 4 groups.There was no significant difference in eccentricity of femoral component,recovery rate of eccentricity,anterversion and proportion of anterversion within safe zone among group B,C,D.The anterversion angle of the acetabular cup in group A were significantly greater than those in group B,C,D(P<0.05).The proportion of acetabular cup anteversion within the safe zone and eccentricity and its recovery rate in group A were significantly lower than those in group B,C,D(P<0.05).The proportion of acetabular cup anteversion within the safe zone in group A is seventy-five point seven percentage.The recovery rate of the femoral eccentricity in group A is seventy-one point four percentage.Conclusion The accuracy of the components position in Super PATH minimallyinvasive total hip arthroplasty is good basically,but contrast with the other three goups,the anterversion angle of the acetabular cup inclines to increase,and the femoral eccentricity inclines to be smaller.
