Objective This study is analyze the effect of gastrointestinal symptoms between chronic gastritis patients with anxiety depression. It is very important to increase the early identification of chronic gastritis patients with abnormal mental in the clinical treatment.Exploring the characteristics of mucosal performance under gastroscope among patients also can guide treatment decisions. Methods In total,120 patients with chronic gastritis were recruited from ningxia medical university hospital. This study was carried out from March 2016 to December 2016.All participants were from medical expert clinic. They have complete outpatient records of six months and signed informed consent. The detailed record of patients with chronic gastritis gastroscope was collected by medical record.Other information of participants was obtained by training investigator using a structured questionnaire, which including 14 Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),24 Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and 15 gastrointestinal symptoms rating scale(GSRS).Data analyses were performed by the standard software package SPSS.Associations between the mental factors and gastrointestinal symptoms in patients were analyzed using student's t-test for all scales, except for the GSRS which used chi-square test. Results 1.120 Chronic gastritis patients male female ratio is 1:0.74.The average age is 39.6.Most of 25 to 60 years old.2.Chronic gastritis patients with gastrointestinal symptoms120 patients with one or more of the gastrointestinal tract symptoms in 108 cases(90%).Three dimensions including indigestion, abdominal pain andreflux dimension have high scores, which the scored were 521,496 and 386.Another dimensions of constipation a nd diarrhoeahave the low score, which the scored were 66 and 49.3.The mental state of patients with chronic gastritis 3.1 120 patients with chronic gastritis HAMA score was 15.64±5.99.The HAMD score was 15.96±7.42.Male and female patients with HAMA score were 15.59±5.45 and 15.71±6.72.There was no statistically significant difference(t = 0.100,p = 0.920).Male and female patients with the HAMD scores were 15.75±7.21 and 16.24±7.76.There was no statistically significant difference(t = 0.350,p = 0.727).3.2 The correlation between GSRS score and HAMA,HAMD scores: Score of GSRS on chronic gastritis patients between HAMA and HAMD were positively correlated(r=0.194,0.190,p=0.034,0.037).3.3 98 patients with mental anomaly or depression anxiety and depression have significantly higher GSRS score in abdominal pain, reflux, indigestion dimensions than 22 patients without anxiety depression.Compared the incidence of gastrointestinal symptoms and GSRS score by chi-square test, the mental abnormality were increased the incidence of chronic gastritis(X2 = 4.508,P = 0.034).The difference was statistically significant.48 patients with moderately severe anxiety have significantly higher GSRS score than 38 cases of mild anxiety in abdominal pain, reflux and in digestion dimension.Compared the incidence of gastrointestinal symptoms and GSRS score by chi-square test, the mental abnormality can increased the incidence of chronic gastritis(X2 = 5.631,P = 0.018).The difference was statistically significant.4.Merger of mental anomaly of endoscopic manifestation of patients with chronic gastritisIn 120 patients with chronic gastritis,98 patients have disorder of anxiety depression gastroscopy signs of gastritis.86.7% of the patients showed simple chronic non-atrophic gastritis.22 patients without anxiety depression gastroscopy signs of gastritis.33.3% of the patients showed simple chronic non-atrophic gastritis, compared by chi-square test,The difference was statistically significant. In this study,we found that 48 patients have moderately severe anxiety.76.9% of patients showed gastroscopy hint of chronic atrophic gastritis. There was no significant difference compared with patients with mild anxiety. Conclusions 1.Merger of mental anomaly is common in patients with chronic gastritis.Gastrointestinal symptoms in patients with combined mental abnormal state were significantly related.2.The degree of anxiety is proportional to the incidence of gastrointestinal symptoms.3.The correlation between merger of chronic gastritis patients with mental abnormality and endoscopic gastric mucosal performance.
