Objective:By comparing the DHI score and the HADS score of the vestibular rehabilitation group, the drug group and combined group before intervention,at the moment of 2 weeks after intervention,4 weeks after intervention,6 weeks after intervention,I tried to investigate how the vestibular rehabilitation and drug treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo influence the reduction of residual symptoms in quality of life, mental health, anxiety and depression status. Methods:Choosing the patients who were diagnosed as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV)parallel treatment of canalith repositioning procedure(CRP)after the success of 99 cases of residual symptoms and using the random number table method,I divided the 99 patients into vestibular rehabilitation group, drug group, combined group with 33 cases in each group.Patients of vestibular rehabilitation group were given vestibular rehabilitation training.Patients of drug group were given betahistine mesylate drug treatment.Combined group of patients were given vestibular rehabilitation training combined drug therapy. All patients were followed up for 6 weeks. The patients were assessed with the dizziness handicap inventory(DHI)and hospital anxiety and depression scale(HADS)at the time of enrollment,follow-up of the fourteenth day,the twenty-eighth day,the forty-second day.Application of chi square test,t test,one-way ANOVA,repeated measures ANOVA,statistical analysis on the data.Results:1.Finally,vestibular rehabilitation group of 29 cases,30 cases of drug group,31 cases of combined group have finished.A total of 90 patients completed the study. There was no significant difference between the three groups of patients with general information(P>0.05),indicating that the three groups of patients have comparable baseline data sense.2.Before the intervention, vestibular rehabilitation group, drug group, combined group the DHI score of the three groups were compared at baseline, there was no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05),the three groups were comparable. After 2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks, with repeated measurement of ANOVA I compared three groups of patients at different time points in DHI.By comparison, results show the effect of time(P < 0.05),interaction effect(P < 0.05),grouping effect(P < 0.05),With LSD multiple comparison, there was no statistically significant difference between the vestibular rehabilitation group and drug group(P > 0.05),but there was significant difference between the vestibular rehabilitation group and the combined group(P<0.05),and there was also significant difference between the drug group and the combined group(P < 0.05).The vestibular rehabilitation group, drug group, combined group of patients with DHI score, compared to 2 weeks after intervention and before intervention,4 weeks after intervention and 2 weeks after intervention,6 weeks after intervention and 4 weeks after intervention, compared 6 weeks after intervention and before intervention, the differences were statistically significant,P < 0.05.3.Before the intervention, vestibular rehabilitation group, drug group, combined group the HADS-T,HADS-A,HADS-D scores of three groups were compared at the baseline, and there were no significant differences(P > 0.05),so the three groups were comparable. After 2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks, with repeated measures ANOVA I compared three groups of patients at different time points in HADS-T score,HADS-A score,HADS-D score.By comparision, results show the effect of time(P-T < 0.05;P-A < 0.05;P-D < 0.05),interaction effect(P-T < 0.05;P-A < 0.05;P-D < 0.05),grouping effect(P-T < 0.05;P-A <0.05;P-D < 0.05).With LSD multiple comparison, results show that the vestibular rehabilitation group and drug group scores showed no significant difference(P > 0.05),vestibular rehabilitation group and combined group were statistically significant(P < 0.05),drug group and combined group score differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The vestibular rehabilitation group, drug group, combined group of patients with HADS-T score,HADS-A score,HADS-D score, and then compared the situation of 2weeks after intervention with that before intervention, the condition of 4 weeks after intervention with that of 2 weeks after intervention, the condition of 6 weeks after intervention with that of 4 weeks after intervention, also the condition of 6 weeks after intervention and that before intervention, the differences were statistically significant,P <0.05.Conclusion:1.Vestibular rehabilitation training, betahistine mesylate drug therapy, vestibular rehabilitation training which combines drug therapy have effect on residual symptoms after canalith repositioning procedure in patients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.2.The effect of Vestibular rehabilitation training which combines drug therapy on residual symptoms after canalith repositioning procedure in patients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo is better than both the single the effect vestibular rehabilitation training and drug therapy alone.3.Vestibular rehabilitation training, betahistine mesylate drug therapy, vestibular rehabilitation training which combines drug therapy can improve the residual symptoms of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo patients' quality of life and improve the patient's psychological status, anxiety, and depression.4.In improving the residual symptoms of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo patients' quality of life and improve the patient's psychological status, anxiety, depression, vestibular rehabilitation training which combines with drug therapy is better than the single effect on vestibular rehabilitation and drug treatment alone.
