Objective:Improve the awareness of chronic active Epstein-Barr virus infection(CAEBV).Methods:The clinical data of 2 CAEBV patients were analyzed retrospectively.We also summarized the progress of the pathogenesis?diagnosis?treatment and described current progress of CAEBV research.Results:The clinical manifestations of 2 patients were different,which showed a high degree of clinical heterogeneity.Conclusion:CAEBV is a highly heterogeneous lymphoproliferative disease which between lymphoid tissue hyperplasia of reactivity and malignancy lymphoproliferative disease.The pathogenesis of CAEBV is unknown and there is no effective treatment,especially the more elaborate EBV immune escape mechanism research.Because of the low incidence,the lack of experience,the diagnosis and treatment for CAEBV should be improved.
