ObjectiveThe aims of this systematically review and meta-analysis were to evaluate the incidence and risk factors of postoperative ventilator-associated pneumonia in patients with liver transplantation,and provided the evidence for prevention decisions.MethodsWe searched the Embase,Pubmed,Web of science,cochrane library,VIP database,Wanfang,CNKI and Sinomed to collect researches till November 2016.ResultsThe meta-analysis showed that the incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia after liver transplantation was 10% and the mortality rate was 38.5%.The important infection factors of ventilator-associated pneumonia after liver transplantation were in accordance with the OR value and(95% CI): immunization preparation 6.58 [2.28,9.89],ICU time> 2 days 5.21 [3.46,8.95],ventilator use time> 2 days 4.54 [1.77,6.31],postoperative MELD score> 15 points 3.98 [1.06,6.21].ConclusionThe incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia after liver transplantation is high,we should take appropriate preventive measures,and reducing the incidence of infection.
