Objective: To discuss the relevant factor of short-term recurrence after interventional embolization of intracranial aneurysms. Methods: The diagnosis criteria and treatment of 4 cases of short-term recurrence after interventional embolization of intracranial aneurysms were studied, and the relative literatures were reviewed. Results: All 4 cases received the treatment of interventional emboliza tion, one showed recurrence by MRA in a week and confirmed by DSA after intracranial, one was confirmed as recurrence by DSA after the recurrence of hemorrhage in two month after discharge from the hospital, the other 2 cases was identified recurrence by DSA for the first time after six month. All 4 cases were high dense embolised after the second interventional emboli-zation.none was recurrence when they leave hospital. Conclusion:The short-term recurrence after interventional emboliztion of intracranial aneurysms was closely associated with the rate of emboliza-tion,the size, shape, position of the aneurysms.Close follow-up by image examination is necessary, and it should be retreated when found recurrence.
