Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Renal Anemia With Sheng Xue Mixture

Objective: Using prospective randomized controlled clinical research methods,observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Sheng Xue mixture and erythropoietin in the treatment of renal anemia.Methods: 80 cases of chronic kidney disease patients in stage 5 with renal anemia were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with simple randomized method.The control group using erythropoietin(EPO)combined with iron,The treatment group was based on the control group therapy plus Chinese medicine Shengxue mixture,and the two groups were in accordance with the need of folic acid,vitamin B12,and treated on the basis of maintenance hemodialysis for 16 weeks.The control group and the treatment group were observed before and after treatment.Including the dosage of EPO,the blood hemoglobin(Hb),hematocrit(HCT),red blood cell(RBC),C-reactive protein(CRP),serum ferritin,albumin,urea nitrogen,creatinine,white blood cells,alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and other clinical indexes.All data were processed by SPSS17.0 statistical software,P<0.05 indicated that the results were significantly different,P>0.05 showed no significant difference.Results: 1.Both the treatment group and the control group,the red blood cell(RBC),the blood hemoglobin(Hb),hematocrit(HCT)and other indicators increased after 2 weeks of treatment,the difference was statistically before treatment(p<0.05),but the two groups had no significant difference(p>0.05).2.Dosages of Erythropoietin in the treatment group were significantly less than those in the control group,The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).3.The serum albumin of the treatment group was significantly higher after 2 weeks of treatment,the difference was statistically before treatment(p<0.05),and the serum albumin of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(p<0.05).4.The CRP of the treatment group was significantly lower after 2 weeks of treatment,the difference was statistically before treatment(p<0.05),and the CRP of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(p<0.05).5.The incidence of EPO related hypertension in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(p<0.05).6.The incidence of abdominal pain,diarrhea,nausea and vomiting was no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).Conclusion: Application of Shengxue mixture in treating renal anemia,not only can increase hemoglobin(Hb),hematocrit(HCT),red blood cell(RBC),reduce the dosage of erythropoietin,can also increase the serum albumin,reduce the micro inflammation and the incidence of EPO related hypertension was significantly lower than the control group,and has certain clinical significance in the treatment of renal anemia.
