Objective: Diabetes is one of the most common chronic diseases, and the prevalence is increasing. At present, the pathogenesis of diabetes is not clear.Hyperglycemia caused by increased oxidative stress is caused by islet cell damage and diabetic complications of target organ damage an important mechanism.Oxidative hyperactivity can cause apoptosis, and heat shock protein27 is a recently discovered molecule that mediates apoptosis. Our aim was to investigate whether there was a correlation between normal glucose tolerance(NGT),impaired glucose tolerance(IGT),and type 2 diabetes in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods: Thirty-six patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,28 patients with impaired glucose tolerance, and 22 healthy subjects were enrolled in this study from October 2015 to December 2016,and matched age and sex.Data such as sex, age, body mass index, course of disease, blood pressure, fasting blood glucose(FBG),blood lipid, glycosylated hemoglobin and diabetes mellitus were collected. And the levels of HSP27 were measured by ELISA for statistical analysis. Results: The level of HSP27 in diabetic group(299.33 + 58.92 pg / ml)was significantly lower than that in IGT patients(347.46 + 66.24 pg / ml,P <0.05),which was higher than that in normal control group(211.86 + 70.08 pg / ml,P <0.05).Conclusions:1.The expression level of HSP27 in human serum was related to the development of diabetes mellitus and diabetes mellitus.2.There was a correlation between HbA1c and HSP27 levels.
