Objective To analyze the correlation between Tei index and EF,BNP in patients with heart failureMethods A total of 100 patients with CHF were enrolled in the Department of Cardiology, from October 2014 to May 2015.All patients who were enrolled in the heart failure group met the diagnostic criteria stipulated in the Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Heart Failure in China 2014.Meanwhile,the patients were divided into grade II(35 cases),grade III(32 cases)and grade IV(33 cases)according to NYHA.The experimental group was divided into 52 HFrEF patients(LVEF<40%)and 48 HFpEF patients(LVEF?40%),according to the level of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),of course excluding the patients with congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, cancer, pulmonary heart disease and heart valve disease and other primary disease patients.Select 30 healthy people as a normal control confirmed that no organic disease from the same period of physical examination by clinical examination. We use echocardiography to measure Left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVDD),left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVDD)and left ventricular short axis shortening(LVFS),meanwhile, the Tei index was measured by tissue Doppler ultrasonography, and the serum brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(Elisa). Results Compared with the healthy control group, the heart rate, creatinine, urea, hypertension and diabetes mellitus in the heart failure group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The age, sex, blood pressure,WBC,RBC,PLT,TG and so oncompared with the control group was no significant difference(P> 0.05);(2)When we compared the patients' Tei index in different cardiac function with echocardiographic parameters and serum BNP,the results showed that the levels of BNP,LVDD,LVDD and Tei index in heart failure group were higher than the patients in the control group(P<0.05),such as LVDD(66.15±6.69vs46.53±3.18),LVDS(53.54±6.56vs28.66 ±3.34),however,the LVEF and LVFS were lower than those in the control group(P <0.05),such as LVEF(34.13 ± 8.48vs68.38±5.58),LVFS(16.83±4.59vs39.12±3.72)(P <0.05).According to NYHA cardiac function grade, the Tei index and serum BNP increased gradually was significantly increased(P <0.01).LVDD,LVDS,was significantly lower than that of NYHA group(P <0.01).(3)The Tei index, ultrasound index and BNP in HFpEF group and HFrEF group were similar to those in NYHA group.(4)The correlation analysis showed that the Tei index was positively correlated with BNP(r = 0.45,P <0.01).(5)The Tei index was negatively correlated with LVEF(r =-0.69,P<0.01).Conclusion(1)The Tei index was negatively correlated with LVEF.(2)Tei index was positively correlated with BNP.(3)The Tei index increased gradually with the increase of heart failure.(4)Tei index had a potential clinical value in the diagnosis of heart failure.
