Objective: To explore the relationship between serum Cys C and insulin resistance(IR)in type 2 diabetes mellitus, and to increase the judgment of insulin resistance to help medical workers to judge the disease guidance medication.Method: A total of 116 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were enrolled in the Department of Endocrinology,Qinghai University Hospital from October 2015 to October 2016.According to the homeostasis model of assessment(HOMA)model, the formula HOMA-IR = FPG * FINS / 22.5,HOMA-IR?2.69 is defined as IR [1].divided into IR group(HOMA-IR?2.69)and non-IR group(HOMA-IR <2.69).IR group, the average age of 45.81 ± 9.16 years old,non-IR group of 57 people, the average age of 47.29 ± 11.82 years. All patients were willing to participate in a unified general information collection, laboratory tests.Data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software.Results:1?IR group SBP,BMI,LDL,Cys C,waist circumference higher than non-IR,non-IR group had higher HDL.2?logistics regression model, the adjustment of SBP,waist circumference,BMI,LDL,HDL effect, the results show that Cys C is the most important risk factor for IR [OR 9.346(1.039-84.049),P=0.046].3?Cys C was positively correlated with IR(rs = 0.470,P <0.05).Conclusion:The level of serum Cys C in type 2 diabetic patients was associated with IR.Cys C increased the way people judge the IR,to help medical staff to determine the patient's condition to guide the clinical rational drug use.
