Clinical Research And Analysis Of The Supplementary Treatment Of Sudden Deafness With Injection Of Methylprednisolone Behind The Ear In High Altitude Area

Objective To study the clinical efficacy of the treatment of sudden deafness with injection of methylprednisolone behind the ear in high altitude area.And provide guidance for clinical treatment.Methods Sudden deafness were enrolled in the Department of Otolaryngology of Qing Hai Provincial People's Hospital from September 2015 to December 2016.A total of 171 patients meet the screening conditions.The patients were divided into two groups according to treatment methods: the injection behind the ear treatment group and the convention treatment group.Application of conventional drug treatment in both groups with same way.Ear acupuncture treatment group in the 6?8?10?12?14 days of the course of treatment give the injection behind the ear of methylprednisolone 40 mg / time.Treatment for hearing recovery is normal or 15 days.Patients were examined by pure tone audiometry before to be admitted to hospital,the process of the treatment and after the treatment.The treatment effective rate,posttreatment the average audition threshold and audition increased the average audition threshold of the two groups patients make a comparison.Results The effective rate of treatment of the injection behind the ear treatment group and the convention treatment group patients with sudden deafness at high altitude was 63.6% and 30.9% respectively,comparison was statistically significant(P <0.05).Pretherapy the average audition threshold was 54.89±21.47 d B,and posttreatment the average audition threshold was 30.89±16.90 d B for patients with ear acupuncture treatment group,pretherapy and posttreatment the average audition threshold comparison was statistically significant(P<0.001).Pretherapy the average audition threshold was 50.98±19.02 d B,and posttreatment the average audition threshold was 342.23±20.29 d B for patients with convention treatment group,pretherapy and posttreatment the average audition threshold comparison was statistically significant(P<0.001).Posttreatment the average audition threshold of the two group patients comparison was statistically significant(P<0.001).Audition increased the average audition threshold of the injection behind the ear treatment group and the convention treatment group patients was 24.00±11.76 d B ?8.75±15.18 d B respectively.Audition increased the average audition threshold of the two groups patients comparison was statistically significant(P<0.001).The treatment effective rate of the smooth decline type of the two group patients was 59.1% and 26.2% respectively,comparison was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion In the conventional treatment of high altitude areas of sudden deafness method plus the injection behind the ear of methylprednisolone played a role in adjuvant therapy to improve the efficacy.
