Choroidal metastatic carcinoma is one of the most common intraoc ular malignant tumor.In women,the most common primary site is the breast cancer,followed by lung cancer,while in male,it is lung cancer.Choroidal metastatic carcinoma mainly occured in 40-70 years old,and more in female than male,it appeared in left eye more than the right.The patient with choroidal metastasis usually precents with decreased vision,eye pain,visual field defect,dysmorphopsia,flashes of light,floating bodies,etc.Choroidal metastases always appeared as a yellowish white or grayish yellow,roundness,base broad and sessile swelling mass under the retina,located posterior to the equator.Exudative retinal detachment and retinal hemorrhage could also be seen in choroidal metastases.The diagonosis of choroidal metastasis based on the history,clinical manifestation,auxiliary examination.The treatment requires multidisciplinary care,Treatment options of choroidal metastases include many methods including systemic therapy and/or local treatment,which should be revised to achieve improvement in visual functions and quality of life.
