Colon neoplasm is one of the most common malignant cancers.Because of the lack of specific diagnostic methods and indicators in clinical practice, most patients with colon cancer have been diagnosed at the late stage. Therefore, the prognosis of colon cancer is poor. Therefore, colon cancer has become a serious threat to the lives and quality of life in china.MMPs are a group of zinc and calcium dependent proteases, many studies show that it can through the extracellular matrix regulation to promote the invasion and metastasis of tumor cells, plays an important role in tumor metastasis and prognosis. The family of synaptic proteins is a small family of proteins known to be composed of three members. The results show that SNCG is not only involved in neurodegenerative diseases, but also found in a variety of malignant tumors. We use immunohistochemical method to detect the expression of MMP-16 and SNCG in colon neoplasm tissues, and to analyze the correlation between the expression and pathological features.objectiveBy detecting the expression of MMP-16 and SNCG in colon cancer tissues. The correlation between the degree of infiltration and TNM analysis of MMP-16 and SNCG and colon cancer staging of tumor clinical pathological features and the relationship between MMP-16 and SNCG two expression in colon cancer, the effect of MMP-16 and SNCG in the occurrence and development of tumor in the process of invasion and metastasis, and provide a theoretical principle to find a new method of clinical diagnosis and treatment of colon neoplasm in the future.MethodThe expression of MMP-16 and SNCG in 120 cases of colon cancer tissues and 120 cases of normal colon tissue were detected by immunohistochemistry.Immunohistochemical results were analyzed using statistical software SPSS19.0,MMP-16 and SNCG in colon cancer and normal colon tissues of the two differential expression, and the relationship between MMP-16 and SNCG and clinicopathological features of colorectal cancer. The chi square test was used to test the level of alpha =0.05,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant, and the correlation between MMP-16 and SNCG was analyzed between the two groups.Spearman correlation analysis was used to test the level of alpha =0.05,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.ResultThe expression of MMP-16 and SNCG in colon cancer tissues and the adjacent normal tissues were distinct. The positive expression of MMP-16 was detected in the cell cytoplasm, while the positive expression of SNCG was detected in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. The positive rates of MMP-16 and SNCG expression in colon cancer tissues were 73.3%(88/120)and 81.7%(98/120),respectively.The positive rate of the adjacent normal tissues was(23/120)and 32.5%(39/120).The positive expression rate of MMP-16 and SNCG in colon cancer tissues the positive rate was significantly higher than the two expression in the adjacent tissues(P < 0.05);the expression of MMP-16 in colorectal cancer and has no relationship with age and gender(P > 0.05),and the degree of differentiation of patients and clinical stage, there were significant difference(?~2=7.458,P=0.024 X~2=4.658,P=0.031).The expression of SNCG in colorectal cancer and has no relationship with age and gender(P > 0.05),and the degree of differentiation of patients and clinical stage, the difference was statistically significant(2=10.797,P=0.005;X 2=8.183,P=0.004),and the tumor stage, the lower level of neoplasm differentiation, the higher level of expression of SNCG and MMP-16.MMP-16 and SNCG expression were positively correlated(r=0.250,P < 0.05).conclusionThe positive expression rate of MMP-16 and SNCG in colon neoplasm tissue was obviously higher than the positive rate of the expression of MMP-16 and SNCG in normal colon tissues, prompted the second and their expression has a close association with colon cancer;MMP-16 and SNCG in colon neoplasm tissues was not associated with age, gender, and colon cancer invasion there is a close relationship between the degree and TNM stage. And the lower level of tumor differentiation, the higher stages, the higher expression of MMP-16 and SNCG was obviously associated with SNCG,suggesting that the development of relationship with colon cancer closely, expression of combined detection of MMP-16 and SNCG with an important guiding significance for judging the metastasis potential and prognosis.
