Objectives This study is in the hospital fall introduced comprehensive geriatric assessment in clinical treatment of high risk in elderly patients(Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment,CGA),through scientific and reasonable intervention from physical health, mental health, mental health,self-care ability, social and economic status of multidimensional angle measurement after the assessment of the problems found, observe the treatment of CGA fall high risk patients in the elderly,in order to reduce the risk of falls and the incidence of complications in the fall,to alleviate the fear of falls in elderly patients, improve the balance ability and the quality of life in elderly patients. Methods From October 2015 to September 2016 in North China Polytechnic University Hospital of geriatrics hospitalization in patients over the age of 60 for fall risk assessment, screening of high risk patients with a total of 224 cases as the research object, using the method of randomly divided into intervention group and control group,112 cases in each group, the control group of 48 men cases,64 cases were female, mean age 77.18 ± 7.76 years old;the intervention group male 51 cases, female 61 cases, mean age 76.46 ± 7.37 years old.Risk assessment, assessment of the balance ability, evaluation of fall efficacy and quality of life assessment of two patients were performed in the hospital within 2 days of hospitalization and intervention for 3 months. At the same time, the patient's name, gender, age, marital status, occupation, smoking, drinking and other personal data were collected, and the data of blood glucose, blood lipid, blood pressure, electrolytes, and illness were collected. The control group was given routine hospitalization and medical health care, the intervention group based on the treatment and nursing on the comprehensive assessment and intervention of patients after discharge telephone follow-up every 2 weeks for 1 times, the follow-up for the main content of the implementation of intervention measures, whether need a new intervention, the second CGA assessment intervention 3 months after implementation, recording two assessment results.Using Excel 2013 to establish a database, using SPSS21.0 statistical software for data analysis, count data expressed by the number of cases and the percentage between the two groups were compared using X2 Test;measurement data using standard deviation((?)±s)said, between the two groups were compared with t test,P<0.05 there was statistical significance. Results 1 There were no significant differences between the two groups in gender, age, marital status, education level, disease, smoking, drinking and other basic data(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in blood glucose, blood pressure, total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein, high density lipoprotein, uric acid and body mass index(P=0.05)between the two groups.2 There was no statistically significant difference between the patients in the two groups on admission score(P<0.05).At the end of the experiment, the scores of the two groups were lower than those of the patients(P<0.05),while the intervention group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.01).3 After the intervention, the incidence rate of falls in the two groups was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).4 Compare the average hospitalization days of patients in the two groups, the intervention group was significantly lower than the control group after the research, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).5 The BBS scores of two groups patients, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After the research, the scores of two groups were improved(P<0.05).And the intervention group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.01).6 Compare the MFES scores of two groups, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After the study, the of two groups were improved(P<0.05),and the scores of intervention group were increased more significantly than the control group(P<0.01).7 There was no significant difference in quality of life scores between the two groups before the study(P>0.05).After the study, the quality of life scores were higher in two groups(P<0.05),and the intervention group was significantly increased than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The introduction of comprehensive geriatric assessment and intervention in hospitalized elderly patients with high risk of falls, have the following effects: 1)reduce the risk of falls and the incidence of falls in patients.2)to improve patients' balance ability and alleviate the patient's psychological fear falls.3)reduce the average hospitalization days of patients.4)to improve the quality of life in elderly patients.
