Background:polycystic ovary syndrome is a very common gynecological endocrine clinical disease, its clinical manifestation of heterogeneity, not only have menstrual, fertility problems, affect the reproductive function of patients, and estrogen-dependent tumors such as endometrial cancer incidence increase, related metabolic disorders including hyperandrogenemia, insulin resistance, abnormal glucose metabolism, abnormal lipid metabolism, cardiovascular disease risk also increased. Its clinical symptoms are beyond the category of gynecological endocrine, and from the onset of puberty to menopause, symptoms are accompanying, severely affecting the quality of life of women, and enormous social economical burdens is very heavy. The incidence of PCOS with social economical development and improvement of living standards is increasing trend, due to PCOS polymorphism, ethnic differences, and different people living environment and lifestyle differences, different countries have different risk factors.Studies have shown that exercise and PCOS may have a certain relationship, lifestyle has been listed as the basic treatment of PCOS,through physical activity can improve PCOS and insulin resistance patients with insulin resistance and abnormal glucose metabolism, presumably that the exercise of the treatment of PCOS has a certain significance, with obesity,ovulation-free of PCOS women to reduce weight after using insulin sensitizer metformin, treatment efficacy more significantly.Life intervention therapy can improve the body composition of patients with PCOS,and have the effect of improving hyperandrogenemia and insulin resistance. At the same time, exercise may reduce the sympathetic hyperfuntion, improve ovarian polycystic status, reduce ovarian volume, thereby improving the unhealthy outcomes of PCOS.The incidence of PCOS and its related factors have become one of the hotspots in many countries. At present, there is little research on the relationship between physical activity and PCOS.And the physical activity, the study of combining PCOS with energy consumption has not been reported, there is no objective analysis of the relationship between physical activity and PCOS.Carrying out this investigation and preliminary discussion on the relationship between physical activity and the pathogenesis of PCOS has a clinical effective significance for the prevention and cure of the disease. Objective:To investigate the clinical epidemiology of polycystic ovary syndrome, the difference of physical activity between patients and control group of women of childbearing age in the physical examination center of the second hospital affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University, and to find out the risk factors related to the physical activity of PCOS.Methods:A case-control study based on the crowd of outpatient medical examination.Using the international physical activity questionnaire, from December 2014 to December 2016 in Guangzhou Medical University affiliated second hospital medical personnel of the part of women of childbearing age 622 women surveyed, the case of 38 patients with PCOS was diagnosed as a case group, and a randomized selection of non-PCOS 38 people in the same period of the hospital was matched by the agerelated patients as the control group, compared this groups of different activities(work correlation,Traffic-related,household gardening related, leisure related energy consumption, sedentary time and the incidence of PCOS,find out the risk factors related to the incidence of PCOS in physical activity.Results:(1)In this study,622 women of childbearing age were involved in clinical epidemiological investigation of outpatient examinations, and are diagnosed with PCOS,the incidence of 38 patients with PCOS was 6.1%.(2)The sedentary time, walking, total physical activity energy consumption is higher than the control group, moderate intensity physical activity energy consumption is lower than the control group. The number of heavy physical activity in two groups is a case group 18.42%,the control group 21.05%,the two groups have no statistically difference(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),the two groups of walking, moderate physical activity, total moderate physical activity(plus walking)and no statistically significant difference in energy consumption of total physical activity(P>0.05).(3)Work-related physical activity time between the two groups(P=0.19),the case group traffic related physical activity time is higher than the control group, housework and leisure related physical activity time is lower than the control group, three variables in the two groups between the statistical difference(P<0.05).(4)The energy consumption of household and leisure physical activity in the case group is greater than the control group, the energy consumption of traffic physical activity is lower than the control group, but there is no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),the energy consumption of the workrelated physical activity in the PCOS case group is lower than the control group, which is statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05).(5)The duration of sitting, high BMI were associated with increased risk of PCOS,1.051,1.144(P<0.05).(6)The length of housework-related physical activity is a protective factor, increasing the time of housework related physical activity and decreasing the risk of PCOS(P=0.001).Conclusion:1.The incidence of PCOS in the medical population was 6.1%.2.The higher BMI and the length of sitting are the risk factors associated with the increased incidence of physical activity of PCOS.3.The length of housework-related physical activity is a protective factor and increases in household-related physical activity time associated with reducing the risk of PCOS.
