Objective:The objective of this study was to observe the bone grafting effect of using the Bio-Oss with PRF,the effects of orthodontic teeth movement in such areas, the safety and feasibility of teeth movement, which would apply a new method for the orthodontic treatment. Methods: The case included an adult female patient(33 years old). The mandibular right first molar had been missed for several years, which alveolar bone had been resorted. The mandibular left first molar need to be extracted completely because of severe periodontosis, which buccal alveolar bone had been resorbed to the roots apical. The both mandibular second molars moved mesially to replace first molars. The mandibular first molar areas were used Guided Bone Regeneration and Platelet-Rich Fibrin to remodel alveolar bones, then it were used titanium membrane and titanium nails. The left one were used Bio-Gide membrane. After surgery, she was treated with anti-infection.Removing the titanium membrane six months later, then she began orthodontic treatment. Two micro-implants anchorage were implanted to move the molars distally. One week later, she returned so we observed the pain, swelling reaction and the healing.CBCT were taken to assess the bone grafting effect; We also measure the teeth movement distance, roots absorption, the pulp vitality and the periodontal conditions for every four weeks. Results: 1.The alveolar bone quality had increased on the height and width;2.On the early stage, the teeth moved fast, while they moved relatively slowly in the later stage;3.There was little absorption of the mandibular second molars roots;4.There were no gingival invagination;5.There were no adverse reactions of swelling,pain;6.There were no differences of pulp and periodontal between the pre-operation and the mandibular second molars when moved to mesial direction(P>0.05).Conclusion: 1.The bone could be rebuilt well when using the Bio-Oss and PRF;2.There were feasibilities of this method;3.There were no obvious absorption in roots;4.There were no difference of periodontal conditions and normal pulp vitality;4.There were no obvious side effects after the bone grafting.
