| Objective: To investigate The preventive effect of Triamcinolone acetonide(TA)on proliferative vitreoretinopathy(PVR)after vitrecomy for complicated retinal detachment. Methods:To collect 80 cases(80 eyes)with complicated retinal detachment from January in 2014 to January in 2016 in our hospital, consisting of 21 cases(21 eyes)of retinal detachment with Major hiatus(the pore diameter>3PD)and Giant hiatus(hole range 80°-160°),16 cases(16 eyes)of retinal detachment with choroidal detachment,20cases(20eyes)of proliferative vitreoretinopathy with > C3 rhegmatogenous retinal detachment and 23cases(23eyes)of reoperation for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment.80 cases were randomly divided into two groups:control group(n=40)treated with routine vitrectomy and treatment groups(n=40)treated with vitrectomy and Triamcinolone acetonide(TA).The average follow-up period was 1 year.To compare the incidence of proliferative vitreoretinopathy(PVR)after vitrecomy, the recurrence rate of postoperative retinal detachment and postoperative vision. Results : Postoperative vision between two groups had not statistical difference(P>0.05);The effective rate of the treatment group was 95.00%,The effective rate of the control group was 75.00%,The two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);The incidence of proliferative vitreoretinopathy(PVR)after vitrecomy was 7.50% and the recurrence rate of postoperative retinal detachment was 5% in treatment group. The difference between two groups was statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05);Postoperative high intraocular pressure was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion::Vitrectomy for complicated retinal detachment combined with triamcinolone acetonide may prevent postoperative proliferative vitreoretinopathy and reduce the recurrence of retinal detachment. It provides scientificly clinical value for the treatment of patients with proliferative retinopathy. |
