Objective:to observe the influence between SOD and MDA when SD rats at attitude 5000 m plateau hypoxia environment with injection on astragalus.To explore the effect with high attitude retinopathy when injection on astragalus.Methods : Selected 60 healthy SD rats without eye diseases,each half of the male and female.According to the principle of random group the 60 SD rats divided into the normal saline group,Astragalus injection group.Each group choose 6 rats randomly,normal saline group rats by intraperitoneal injection with saline injection(15 ml/kg)before 30 minutes into the plateau environment simulation cabin,Astragalus group rats by intraperitoneal injection of Astragalus injection(15ml/kg)before 30 minutes into the plateau environment simulation cabin.After it,put them into the plateau environment simulation cabin and respectively survive with 2h,6h,8h,12 h,24h,When get out the rats after executed immediately remove eyes,then observed the changes HE staining in the rat retina.Measuring the SOD and MDA with colorimetric methods.Finally,for data analysis.Results: 1.Each group rats pathological results: When at hypoxia 2 hours,there has no significant change.With the increasing time of hypoxia,the retinal ganglion cells swelling degeneration gradually,the level disordered arrangement.Astragalus injection group retinal tissue changes similar to normal saline group,but is lower.2.SOD and MDA results of each group: As high attitude hypoxia increases over time,the SOD in two groups all decrease.Comparison in different time in each group,besides 2 hours,others all p<0.05;the MDA all increase.Comparison in different time in each group,besides 2hours,others all p<0.05);We make comparison of SOD in two groups at same time the same to MDA.The results have statistical significance(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.Astragalus injection can improve the damage degree of high attitude hypoxia rats retinopathy;2.Astragalus injection has a protective effect on retinal injury in rats with high attitude hypoxia,its mechanism maybe related to scavenging free radical,enhance the activity of SOD,decrease the content of MDA,which is the type of lipid peroxide,enhance antioxidant capacity.
