Objectives The object of the study is to observe the effect of traditional Chinese medicine Shengjiangsan in combination with irbesartan in treatment of diabetic nephropathy.According to the change of triglyceride, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, cystatin C,?2-microglobulin,high sensitive c-reactive protein, homocysteine, urinary albumin excretion rate and leptin,to illustrate the therapy have effect on renal function and provide more support to the combination therapy in treating the disease. Methods Divide 62 cases of patients, conforming the standard of type 2 diabetic nephropathy, into two groups according to the principle of random, open and average.Control group(n=31)was given health education, diet intervention, physical exercise, symptomatic therapy and irbesartan 150 mg qd.Treatment group was given, additional Shengjiangsan intake: decoction treatment,150 ml each time, two times one day.The course is eight weeks. After a course, observe and compare clinical symptoms and signs, the laboratory examination indexes. Results 1 After treatment, the clinical efficacy of treatment group and control group is respectively 90.3% and 74.2%,and the treatment group is significantly high than the control group(P < 0.05).2 All these indexs of TG,HDL-C,Cys C,Leptin and UAER of treatment group have been improved, and the efficiency of treatment group is better than the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusions The therapy combining Shengjiangsan and irbesartan have an evidently effect on high lipid, affect leptin, decline urine albumin excretion rate, meanwhile defend the kidney damage.
