| Objectives To observe the effect of traditional Chinese medicine Shexiangwulong pill on expressions of serum tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-?),interleukin-1(IL-1),interleukin-6(IL-6),osteoproteger(OPG)and receptor activator for nuclear factor-k B ligand(RANKL)in rheumatoid arthritis,to explore the mechanism of shexiangwulong pill in two aspects of joint inflammation and bone injury in patients with rheumatoid arthritis,and to provide theoretical basis for lineal application.Methods The eighty cases of patients were diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis for the first time,these patients form the rheumatic clinic of affiliated hospital of north china university of science and technology,were randomly divided into two groups,The treatment group was treated with Shexiangwulong pill,the control group was treated with total glucosides of paeony,the course of treatment was two mouth,collected two groups of patients before and after treatment serum.Methods the levels of TNF-?,IL-1,IL-6,OPG and RANKL in serum were determined by Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay.The date obtained using the Excel entry and used SPSS 21.0 for date processing and analysis.The measurement data are statistically described by meanąstandard deviation,paired samples t test was used before and after treatment in each group,After the treatment,the independent sample t test was used between the two groups,does not accord with normal distribution using rank sum test,the statistical results of statistically significant(p < 0.05).Results 1 Before treatment,the treatment group and the control group had no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease,the two groups were comparable(p<0.05).2 After two months of treatment,the serum levels of TNF-?,IL-1,IL-6 were decreased in the two groups,the difference was significant(p<0.05),and the expression level of TNF-?,IL-6 decreased in the treatment group than in the control group,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05).However,there was no significant difference between the two groups in decreasing the expression level of IL-1,there was no statistically significant(p>0.05).3 After two months of treatment,the serum levels of OPG were up-regulated,levels of RANKL lowered and the ratio of OPG and RANKL were increased,and the treatment group effect was obvious.(all p<0.05).Conclusions 1 Shexiangwulong pill and Total Glucosides of Paeony Capsules can down regulate the expression levels of TNF-?,IL-1,IL-6 in the serum of patients with RA,and play an important role in anti inflammation and detumescence.2 Shexiangwulong pill and Total Glucosides of Paeony Capsules can inhibit the level of RANKL,increase the level of OPG and increase the ratio of OPG/RANKL,which can delay the destruction of bone and promote the repair of bone.3 Shexiangwulong pill and Total Glucosides of Paeony Capsules can downregula-te the level of rheumatoid arthritis in patients with tumor necrosis factor alpha,interleukin-1,interleukin-6,and receptor activator for nuclear factork B ligand levels,increase osteopro-teger and the ratio of osteoproteger and receptor activator for nuclear factor-k B ligand level,to the anti inflammation and repair of bone and joint function,And for the control of Shexiangwulong pill is better than Total Glucosides of Paeony Capsules tumor necrosis factor alpha,interleukin-6,osteoproteger and receptor activator for nuclear factor-k B ligan-d,and for the regulation of interleukin-1,no significant difference between the two groups. |
