Objective The present situation in Tangshan City of nutrition cognition and behavior of school-age children was analyzed,which provided the basis for further nutrition intervention of school-age children.Methods From July to December in 2015,1282 school-age children who come from four primary schools in Tangshan city were surveyed.The questionnaire included nutrition knowledge and nutrition behavior Combined with the individual factors of school age(gender,grade,whether only child,peer relationship,self-efficacy,self-awareness),Family factors(parental occupation,parental education,family income,family dietary behavior,family affection)and school factors(school nutrition education,school surroundings)to explore the factors affecting the nutritional awareness and behavior of school children.All data were recorded in Excel software.And use SPSS17.0 statistical software to analyze the influencing factors of nutritional cognition and behavior of school children in univariate and binary logistic regression analysis.Results 1.The awareness rate of nutritional knowledge was better at 60.2%,The nutritional behavior was better at 62.2%.2.The single factors of school children's nutrition cognition and behavior were the following: grade,whether only child,self-efficacy,selfawareness,school nutrition education,parental education,parental occupation,family affinity,family dietary behavior and school age children's nutrition cognition,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);Grade,whether only child,self-efficacy,self-awareness,school nutrition education,parental education,parental occupation,family affinity,family dietary behavior,school environment and the nutritional behavior of school-age children,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Binary logistic regression analysis showed that self-consciousness,school nutrition education,family affinity and grade were the influencing factors of nutritional cognition of school-age children(OR=3.717,1.508,1.309,1.175,P<0.05);Self-consciousness,family dietary behavior,school surrounding nutritional environment,family affinity,grade,whether the only child is the school-age children's nutritional behavior of the factors(OR=4.910,2.804,1.933,1.634,1.164,0.211,P<0.05).Conclusion The nutritional knowledge and nutritional behavior of school-age children in Tangshan City are better.The factors that affect the nutrition cognition of school-age children are self-consciousness,school nutrition education,family affection,grade.The factors that affect the nutritional behavior of school-age children are self-consciousness,family dietary behavior,school nutrition environment,family affinity,grade,whether the only child.
