Objective: To investigate the knowledge,beliefs,behaviors level of patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)in Xinjiang Shihezi area,and to explore its influencing factors.To popularize OSAHS related knowledge for medical workers,and to carry out health education,and to provide the scientific basis for the intervention measures.Methods:A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted for the study.Using the method of questionnaire survey,303 cases of OSAHS disease patients from a hospital in Shihezi were received to investigated the level of knowledge,attitude and practice.After the inspection of the recovered questionnaire,the data were collected and coded,and the valid data was recorded by epitada3.1.Using SPSS17.0 for data sorting,description,and analysis.Univariate analysis and multiplelinear regression analysis were conducted to analyze influencing factors.Results:1.There were 54.5% of the patients to be treated for other people's advice and referral,and about 32.7% of the patients came to the hospital because of symptoms.2.Knowledge of the disease of patients was limited.28.1% of patients' knowledge came from medical staff.There were about 33% of patients without any knowledge of the disease.3.The KAP score of patientswas(45.66±15.27),the highest score was 83,the lowest scorewas 13,and scoring rate was 51.3%.The knowledge score was(15.19±13.46),and scoring rate was 31.6%.The attitude score was(13.51±2.86),the scoring rate was 84.4%.The attitude of patients was positive.The behavior score was(16.9±4.87)and scoring rate was 67.8%.4.Univariate analysis showed that age,education,income,chronic diseases,bad habits,whether on the job,the sources of disease knowledgehad significant effects on the score of knowledge(P<0.05);education,income,residence,bad habits,degree of disease,whether on the job,the sources of disease knowledge hadsignificant effects on the scoreofattitude(P<0.05);gender,age,income,weight,residence,chronicdiseases,bad habits,whether on the job,the sources of disease knowledge had significant effects on the score of practice(P<0.05).Multivariate regression analysis further showed that education,bad habits,weight,source of knowledge were the influencing factor for KAP(P<0.05).5.The results showed that there was a positive correlation between knowledge and attitude scores(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.Patients with medical initiative was relatively poor.We should popularize the knowledge of disease and improve the consciousness of active OSAHS patients.2.Enrich the transmission of disease knowledge,and strengthen the propaganda of the OSAHS disease.OSAHS patients with KAP level need to be improved.The lack of relevant knowledge of the disease.The KAP level of education,age,family residence,there were no bad habits,knowledge the impact of attitude,and other factors;disease knowledge awareness was better and more positive.3.The overall level of patients' KAP need to be improved,and the knowledge of disease was insufficient,and the attitude towards to disease was positive,and the health behavior need to be improved.4.The score of knowledge was related to age,education,income,whether there was a bad habit,whether or not there was a chronic disease,whether on the job,the sources of disease knowledge.The score of attitude is related to education,income,family residence,whether or not there is bad habits,the degree of disease,whether on the job,the sources of disease knowledge.The score of behavioral was related to gender,age,income,iweight,residence,whether there was a bad habit,and whether or not there was a chronic disease,whether on the job,the sources of disease knowledge.The main factors affecting the KAP level was education,bad habits,weight,and source of knowledge.Therefore,according to different patients with different demographic data,take targeted measures to improve miracle condition and total level of KAP.5.The attitude scores of knowledge,attitude and behavior of the Spearman analysis results showed that the positive correlation between knowledge and attitudes among the scores(P<0.01).
