ObjectiveTo study the effect of psychological intervention in severe acute pancreatitis patients under the treatment of continuous hemofiltration, and to explore how to relieve the anxiety and depression of the patients, reduce the hospitalization days, improve the cure rate of the patients and save limited medical resources by effective psychological intervention.MethodsWe collected 64 acute pancreatitis patients treated with continuous hemofiltration according to the inclusion criteria in the ICU department of Shanxian Central Hospital during January 2013 to October 2015.All patients were randomly divided into intervention group and control group. Both groups were given symptomatic therapies and routine care, while the intervention group additionally received individualized psychological intervention. The CT severity index(CTSI)of the acute pancreatitis and the anxiety or depression scores of both groups were recorded respectively before and after two weeks of intervention.Results1.Compare with China norm(uSAS=10.52,PSAS<0.01;uSDS=7.42,PSDS<0.01),the SAS(self-rating anxiety scale,SAS)and SDS(self-rating depression scale,SDS)of the 64 patients on admission were higher, which was statistically significant.Hence,we can draw the conclusion that the mental health status of the 64 patients that the norm of mental health status was significantly worse than that in general Chinese population.Among the 64 patients,78% of the patients had varying degrees of anxiety, and 71% patients had varying degrees of depression.2.There was no significant difference in SAS(t=-1.746,P>0.05)and SDS(t=-0.400,P>0.05)scores between the control group and the intervention group at admission; After two weeks of intervention, the scores differed as SAS(t=-8.289,P<0.05)and SDS(t=10.352,P<0.05)in the control group and the intervention group, which was statistically significant.3.The two groups of CTSI data showed no significant difference at admission(t=-0.607,P>0.05)while it turned out to be statistically significant after two weeks of intervention(t=35.587,P<0.05).The conclusion indicated psychological intervention had certain positive effects on reducing the CTSI of the patients with severe acute pancreatitis.4.The patients satisfaction questionnaires showed the difference(F=6.694,P<0.0),which was statistically significant.5.The clinical effective rates showed the difference(F=51.883,P<0.05),which was statistically significant.ConclusionsPsychological intervention can effectively relieve the anxiety and depression in the treatment of patients with severe acute pancreatitis under continuous hemofiltration;Psychological intervention can effectively lower the CTSI rating of patients with severe acute pancreatitis under continuous hemofiltration;Meanwhile,Psychological intervention can help enhance degree of satisfaction, and have positive therapeutic effects on patients.
