Objective Compare the difference of effective radiation dose and image quality between conventional CT scan and low-dose brain CT scan in order to determine the clinical value of the optimized brain CT scan(low dose).Study on the optimization of the new CT set, after the brain scanning program, the patients with traumatic brain lesions may be low,low radiation dose CT scanning with optimized, without affecting the image diagnosis, effectively reduce the radiation dose of this special group of patients. Methods According to the patient's private signs and clinical investigation, the radiologist and the neurologist shared and screened out 183 patients with low likelihood of brain lesions.Among them,98 cases of male patients, female patients in the case of the youngest patient was 16 years old,the oldest patient was 75 years old, with an average age of(58±11.3)years old.According to the order of treatment, were randomly divided into routine brain CT scan protocol(120k V,280 effm As)and the control group after the optimization of low dose CT scanning scheme(100k V,200 effm As)group(1)and low dose CT scanning scheme(100k V,150 effm As)control group(2),using SIEMENS 64 layer dual source spiral CT scan respectively. After the scan is completed, the device automatically calculates the dose value of the scanning volume CT dose index(CTDIvol)and the dose length product DLP,and calculates the effective radiation dose of ED(effective)for each scan.ED is equal to DLPxconversion coefficient, unit is m Sv.Respectively by two senior radiologist and neurological clinicians, common using blind image quality assessment for the two group of scanning scheme, rate match diagnosis and statistics of diagnostic imaging physician and clinical physician of CT image satisfaction, imaging diagnosis and clinical. Results The control scheme of conventional scanning average effective dose group received CT scans of the patients was(1.43±0.35)m Sv,after optimization of low dose average effective dose scans of patients in the group(1)for the scheme(0.68±0.17)m Sv,the study scheme of low dose scanning average effective dose groups of patients was(0.53±0.12)m Sv in the former significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant(t=18.75,P<0.05);brain CT image score and routine scanning scheme obtained by scanning group were less than the standard value of 1.972 resolution diagnostic satisfaction, low dose scanning scheme study group image artifacts and image noise and spatial level, the difference was not statistically significant(t=1.64,t=0.439,t=0.490,t=0.481;P > 0.05),to meet the diagnostic requirements of diagnostic radiology physicians,to "brain lesions may be low in patients with correct diagnosis To provide the imaging basis for the accurate treatment of the clinician. Conclusion Head of low dose CT scanning scheme(2)(100k V,150 effm As),accepted the effective radiation dose than conventional scanning scheme(120k V,280 effm As)significantly decreased, but the image quality decreased significantly, diagnostic confidence was severely affected, clinician satisfaction decreased, discomfort in application.CT scan optimized plan(1)(100k V,200 effm As)can reduce the effective radiation dose of brain lesions in low patients with CT examination, and the image quality can satisfy the requirement of diagnosis, and the program is easy to understand, the technician is simple and easy to operate, has the clinical value, worthy of clinical application.
