Objective: The aim of this study was to detect the level of inflammatory cytokines on the patients which were diagnosed as coronary artery disease with or without chronic periodontitis,compared their difference in serum,and hope to find some key cytokines of chronic periodontitis and coronary heart disease,then want to explore the connections on inflammatory cytokines between the two diseases.Materials and Methods: CHD patients who proven by coronary angiography with periodontitis(CP group)(n=17)and without periodontitis(C group)(n=17)were chose from cardiology of Lanzhou university first hospital,and took systemically healthy subjects with periodontitis(P group)(n=18)and without periodontitis(H group)(n=17)as control groups,which were chose from physical examination center of Lanzhou university second hospital.Blood samples were collected from cubital veins of each research objects,then serum samples were obtained by centrifuge.To assess 18 kinds of chosen cytokines levels in 69 serum samples,using three Panels named Human High Sensitivity of T Cell Magnetic Bead Panel(HTH17MAG-14K),Human TGF?1 Magnetic Bead Panel(TGFBMAG-64K-03)and Human Chemokine Magnetic Bead Panel(HCYTOMAG-60K),through Luminex technology,combined with clinical periodontal parameters and clinical biochemical test.Data were analyzed using one-way avariance analysis,spearman correlation analysis and chi-square test,then through redundancy analysis(RDA)to research the relationship of inflammatory cytokines.Results:1.Serum TNF-? in each group were CP group>C group>P group>H group,TNF-? in CP group(13.13±5.52pg/ml)had significantly higher than C group(9.61±4.22pg/ml,p<0.05),P group(9.17±4.59pg/ml,p<0.05)and H group(7.58±4.44 pg/ml,p<0.01);Serum IP-10 in each group were CP group>C group>P group>H group,It's significantly higher in CP group(286.00±110.127pg/ml)than in C group(218.50±59.26pg/ml,p<0.05),P group(209.02±112.70pg/ml,p<0.05)and H group(147.38±70.86pg/ml,p<0.01).TNF-? was positive correlated with IP-10(r=0.410,p=0.000);TNF-? had positive correlation with CAL(r=0.240,p=0.047)and PLI(r=0.248,p=0.040),and were positive correlated with CHOL(r=0.353,p=0.003)and TG(r=0.292,p=0.015);IP-10 were positive related with CAL(r=0.260,p=0.031)and BOP(r=0.244,p=0.043)and PLI(r=0.247,p=0.040),and were positive related with CHOL(r=0.399,p=0.001),and had negative correlation with HDL(r=-0.297,p=0.013).2.There were some connection between inflammatory cytokines groups,15 kinds of inflammatory cytokines(including IP-10?IFN-??MIP-3??TNF-??TGF-?1?IL-1??IL-1??IL-2?IL-4?IL-6?IL-8?IL-10?IL-17A?IL-21?IL-23)presents a certain correlation,and they had certain correlation with PD,CAL,CHOL,TG,HDL,respectively.Conclusion:1.TNF-? and IP-10 may be the key inflammatory cytokines between chronic periodontitis and coronary heart disease,and they are positive correlation with each other.2.A series of inflammatory cytokines play a synergic role on the development of chronic periodontitis and coronary heart disease,and they accelerate the development of disease together.
