Objective:1?Investigating the relationship between SAD and the risk of cardiovascular disease(CVD)in CKD patients;Investigating the relationship between sagittal abdominal diameter(SAD)and Framingham risk score in CKD patients.2?Investigating the relationship between SAD and endothelial specific molecule-1(ESM-1)and analysing the mechanism of inflammation?endothelial dysfunction and visceral adipose tissue(VAT)?Methods1:Selecting the CKDpatients 307 cases in our hospital from November 2011 to July 2016.measurement of height and weight to calculate body mass index(BMI);measurement of sagittal abdominal diameter(SAD);Collecting the history of smoking?antihypertensive drugs?systolic blood pressure(SBP)and so on to calculate Framingham risk score;Collecting the laboratory index to calculate glomerular filtration rate(GFR).SPSS15.0 was used for statistical analysis:Comparison of categorical variables between groups was performed using the chi square(x 2)test.The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used performed to evaluate normality of distribution of all continuous variables.Continuous variables were expressed as(x±s)or median(range)(non-normal distribution).Analysis of variance(ANOVA)was used in the analysis of continuous variables.Spearman's correlation was performed when the relationship between parameters was explored.Multiple regression analysis was performed to identify the relative dependence of observed correlations of Framingham risk score and SAD(stepwise method). All tests were two-sided.A value of P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.2?Selecting the non-dialysis CKD5 patients 69 cases in our hospital from November 2015 to July 2016.measurement of sagittal abdominal diameter(SAD);Collecting the history of disease;Serum ESM-1 levels were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).SPSS 15.0 was used for statistical analysis:Comparison of categorical variables between groups was performed using the chi square(x2)test.The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used performed to evaluate normality of distribution of all continuous variables.Continuous variables were expressed as(x±s).Analysis of variance T test was used in the analysis of continuous variables.Spearman's correlation was performed when the relationship between parameters was explored.Multiple regression analysis was performed to identify the relative dependence of observed correlations of ESM-1 and SAD(stepwise method). All tests were two-sided.A value of P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:1?Framingham CVD risk score was independently predicted by SAD(P<0.01),GFR(P<0.01)and diabetic history(P<0.05).Adjusted R2 of the model was 0.178.SAD could be independently predicted by BMI(P<0.01),diabetic history(P<0.01),GFR(P<0.01)and age(P<0.01).Adjusted R2 of the model was 0.409.2?SAD(P<0.05)and HGB(P<0.05)were associated with LgESM-1 in 69 CKD stage 5patients.Multiple linear regression models were used to adjust the variables(R2=0.121),SAD(P<0.05)and HGB(P<0.05)were correlated with LgESM-1 stably.Conclusions:1?In CKD patients with CVD risk factors including age,GFR,CRP and SAD was positively correlated with SAD.Framingham risk score was positively correlated with SAD,which can be used as a predictor of Framingham risk score.2.SAD was positively correlated with ESM-1 that a marker of vascular endothelial injury so that SAD was a potential predictor of vascular endothelial injury in non-dialysis CKD stage 5 patients.
