Water quality safety is one of the most important environmental problems.More and more chemicals flow into the water through a variety of ways,such as industrial waste water,domestic sewage.The interaction between industrial waste water and domestic sewage makes the toxicity complicated.Improving the water quality problem is imminent and it is important to design a device for detecting acute toxicity in drinking water.Though traditional biological and chemical detection methods can perform the appropriate tests,they have a long test cycle,expensive equipment,high professional requirements and need to be carried out in the laboratory.What's more,the test conditions are demanding,the test time takes 24 hours or more,which greatly limit the scope of its use.We need to design a highly efficient and accurate rapid detection device to achieve high accuracy of test results,device portability,detection of fast.Luminescent bacteria is a kind of bio-luminescent bacteria.A significant feature of luminous bacteria is that when the toxic substances encountered,their luminous intensity will be weak.It is widely used in the detection of acute toxicity in water by virtue of its own characteristics.The luminescent bacteria are directly contacted with the tested sample to detect the luminous intensity of the luminescent bacteria.Through the size of the luminous intensity to reflect the size of the acute toxicity of water or toxic substances concentration.Light intensity from the luminescent bacteria is weak,so the weak signal detection is the key to this vision is reasonable or not.This design is based on biological research,makes use of hardware and software to achieve the actual function,and is a multidisciplinary integrated design.In the whole design,the most important is the signal processing.Processing accuracy will directly affect and determine the accuracy of the entire system detection.First,the system utilizes multiplier tubes to collect optical signals.PMT input optical signal and output electrical signal.And then through the I / Vconverter,amplifier and filter,the system output voltage value.Using the voltage value to reflect the size of light and then measure the acute toxicity.Luminescent bacteria method is important in terms of biological toxicity testing.Because of its fast,sensitive,simple and so on is widely used,and become the first choice for acute toxicity testing of drinking water.However,the current acute toxicity test of drinking water products on the technical requirements are relatively high,can only detect the comprehensive toxicity,distinguish toxic species difficultly.With the progress of technology,acute toxicity testing device for drinking water will continue to improve.The development costs will be cheaper,the detection will be faster and the results are more accurate.
