Evaluation Of Exercise Therapy Intervention Effect On Troops' Patients With Low Back Pain

Object:Low back pain is a common disease of the spine in sports medicine and rehabilitation medicine.It is also a common disease in troops,and pose a threat to the health of soldiers,which seriously affected the combat effectiveness,training level and life quality of the troops.Exercise therapy for treatment of low back pain is one of the most common and effective method,which is an important means of modern clinical medical rehabilitation,but there is argument about its treatment effect.Through the analysis and evaluation to intervention effect on clinical application of bare-handed core strength training and S.E.T two kinds of exercise therapy on low back pain,some references for the prevention and treatment for Troops patients with low back pain are provided.Methods:To keep a good balance on occupational distribution,three groups of patients with low back pain were selected from different occupations,including 48 cases of aircrew,48 cases of ground crew and 48 other cases as the research object.The low back pain cases were randomly divided into three groups by the way of Draw lots.The first group was the bare-handed core muscle group(which receives the bare-handed core strength training and physical therapy);the second group was the S.E.T group(which received S.E.T and physical therapy);the third group which received general physical therapy was the control group,and there were 48 cases in each group.Before the intervention,after 2 weeks,4 weeks,6weeks intervention respectively,the questionnaires were distributed to three groups of patients.The degree of lumbar pain,lumbar function and kinematics of lumbar spine were evaluated by the questionnaire.The change of lumbar muscle strength of three groups was synchronously measured and data was collected at each stage.According to the analysis and comparison,two kinds of exercise therapy which be implemented on patients with low back pain were evaluated by comparing the results of exercise therapy.Results:Among selected 144 patients with low back pain,14 cases were withdrawed from the intervention experiment during the process of intervention because of adverse effect which account for 9.72%.Only 130 patients completed the intervention trial,including 43 cases in the bare-handed core muscle group,43 cases in the S.E.T group and 44 cases in the control group.There was no signicant difference(P>0.05)on the the entire intervention trial of three groups,the mean age(Fage=0.158,P=0.854),weight(Fwight=2.150,P=0.120),pain duration(Ftime=1.136,P=0.324).The evaluation index of the three groups are:VAS score(3.25,3.30),Roland score(5.83,5.93),FFD score(8.58,8.10)of the bare-handed core muscle group and sling exercise therapy,without significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),but there were differences(P<0.05)compared with the VAS score(2.41),Roland score(3.03)and FFD score(7.40)between the intervention group and control group,.The intervention efficiency of three groups were 90.90%?85.13%?46.82%.There was no significant difference between each index of the bare-handed core muscle group and the S.E.T group(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,there were significant difference among the two intervention group with the control groups(P<0.05).After the intervention,all 130 cases were followed up after 3 months by phone review,and that there were 7 cases of recurrence in the bare-handed core muscle group,9 cases of recurrence in the S.E.T group,14 recurrence in the comparison group.Conclusion:There are obvious curative effect on patients with low back pain after bare-handed core muscle strength training and S.E.T exercise therapy.Military health institutions should take bare-handed core strength training or the S.E.T intervention therapy for cases with low back pain according to the appropriate facilities in different conditin,which can relieve pain symptoms and reduce the incidence of low back pain effectively.
