Applying V Flap Of The Glans To External Urethral Meatus And Glanuloplasty

[Objective]:To discuss the methods for reconstructing external urethral meatus of postoperative hypospadias and repairing deformity of glans.[Methods]:According to the shape of water-drop,we can free abnormal external urethral meatus from the ventral side of glans.Urethrostenosis can be incised vertically at the same time.And we can move incised urethral tissue to the dorsal side of the top of glans.Consequently,the abnormal external urethral meatus can be changed into normal ventral tissue of glans.We can also obtain coniform glans by moving dorsal side V flap of the glans to the ventral side.[Results]:From 2008 January to 2013 December,success of operation with V flap of the glans was achieved in 28 patients in the past 5 years including glandular hypospadias,retraction of external urethral meatus of postoperative hypospadias,meatal stenosis.From 2009 January to 2014 December,we followed the postoperative results of these patients who accepted this kind of surgery through the internet and the phone calls.We followed these patients from 1 month to 12 months after operations,and the average following time was 1 month.We missed 7 cases because of the change of patients' s addresses,and the rest of these 21 patients had excellent appearance of penis without meatal stenosis and retraction of external urethral meatus.[Conclusion]:We can repair well retraction of external urethral meatus of postoperative hypospadias,meatal stenosis,deformity of glans and distal hypospadias by moving properly dorsal side of V flap of the glans and two sides tissue flaps of the glans.
