Cumulative Meta-analysis Of HIV Infection,AIDS Related Behavior Characteristics And AIDS Related Knowledge Of The Mobile Population In China

Objective: to evaluate systematically HIV infection status,AIDS related behavior characteristics and HIV/ AIDS related knowledge among the floating population in China.Methods: CNKI,Wanfang database,PubMed database were searched to collect the cross-sectional studies on domestic HIV infection status,AIDS related behavior characteristics and HIV/ AIDS related knowledge in the floating population from January 1,2006 to June 30,2016.Two researchers screened the literature,which included Chinese and English literature,according to established inclusion and exclusion criteria,extracted the data,assessed the quality by referring to the STROBE statement of the cross-sectional study version and conducted a meta-analysis by using the software of CMA V2 version independently.Sensitivity analysis was used to determine the stability of the results.A subgroup analysis was performed to discuss the sources of heterogeneity.Publication bias was assessed by funnel plot.Results: a total of 95 literature were included with an English literature and 99 sets of data were extracted,in which 26 literature about HIV infection rate among the floating population,30 literature on the incidence of commercial sexual behavior,10 documents on the insistent condom use rate of commercial sexual behavior,16 about the last condom use rate of commercial sexual behavior,59 on the awareness rate of AIDS knowledge,33 about the awareness rate of AIDS transmission routes and 9 literature on the awareness rate of non transmission route were included.The Meta analysis applied with a fixed effect model showed that the HIV infection rate was 1.86‰(95%CI:1.40‰~2.46‰)among Chinese floating population.The Meta analysis applied with a random effect model showed that the incidence rate of commercial sexual behavior was 8.50%(95%CI:6.3%~11.3%),The insistent condom use rate of commercial sexual behavior was 34.5%(95%CI:23.7%~47.2%),The last condom use rate of commercial sexual behavior was 28.64%(95%CI: 20.96%~37.79%).The awareness rate of AIDS knowledge was 65.37%(95%CI: 61.35%~69.18%).The awareness rate of AIDS transmission routes was 74.77%(95%CI:70.64%~78.50%).The awareness rate of non transmission routes was 47.05%(95%CI:37.68%~56.63%).Cumulative meta-analysis was performed according to the study years and the results showed that with the continuous inclusion of the latest original researches,the combined values of the HIV infection rate tend to be stable(about 1.4‰),and there was no significant tendency of variation.The combined values of the incidence of commercial sexual behavior tend to be stable(about 9%),and there was no significant tendency of variation.The insistent condom use rate and the last condom use rate of commercial sexual behavior increased gradually in the floating population,With the inclusion of the latest original researches,the awareness rate of AIDS knowledge of the floating population tend to be stable(about 63%),and there was no significant tendency of variation.The combined values of the awareness rates of AIDS transmission routes tend to be stable(about 74%),and there was no significant tendency of variation.The combined values of the awareness rates of non transmission route increased gradually since 2008,which have a trend of increasing.The results of subgroup analysis showed that compared with other parts of China,the incidence of HIV/AIDS infection and commercial sex was lower in the east of china.The insistent condom use rate and the last condom use rate of commercial sexual behavior was relatively lower in eastern China.Compared to the middle east of China,the awareness rates of HIV/AIDS knowledge and AIDS transmission routes were higher in the west,where the awareness rate of non transmission route was lower,however.Conclusion:The HIV infection rate of the floating population was higher than that of the general population,the HIV infection rate is the lowest in the East,and the infection rate is higher in the central and western regions,which is in line with the epidemic trend of HIV/AIDS in china.There was a higher proportion of commercial sexual behavior in the floating population in China,but in which the condom use rate was lower.Compared to the central regions,the condom use rate is lower in the East.The knowledge of three HIV transmission routes and non transmission route had not been mastered completely.The awareness rates of HIV/AIDS non transmission route knowledge is relatively low in the western regions.
