| Objects:To investigate the association between serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D and precocious puberty in girls to investigate whether the genotypic distribution of the Bsm I,Apa I,Fok I and Taq I polymorphisms of the VDR gene play a role in precocious puberty.to provide some theoretical basis for pathophysiology,early diagnosis and treatment of precocious puberty.Methods:A total of 40 girls with central precocious puberty(CPP)in Jiangxi provincial Children's Hospital from July 1 st,2016 to October 1st,2016 and 40 control girls from were enrolled.serum level of 25 OHD were estimated for all subjects.Participants were genotyped for Apa I(rs7975232),Taq I(rs731236),and Bsm I(rs1544410),Fok I(rs2228570)SNPs.Results:1.There was a significant difference in the serum 25-OH Vit D concentration between the precocious puberty group and the control group 45.51(35.06,54.24)nmol/L vs 60.25(52.19,72.95)nmol/L(P<0.05).2.There are three genotypes(AA ? GA ? GG)for Fok I in both precocious pubertyand health group.No statistical difference was found in the two groups(X~2=2.633,P=0.105).3.There are only two genotypes(AA ? GA)for Taq I.The distribution of genotypes are the same in the two groups(X~2=0.000,P=1.000).4.Two genotypes(CC?CT)for Bsm I(rs1544410)are found in the two groups.There are no significant deviations between the precocious puberty and health group(X~2=0.721,P=0.396).Significant deviations from the genotypes(CC?CA?AA)0f Apa I(rs7975232)were found in the precocious puberty and health group(X~2=9.833,P=0.007).Conclusion:25-hydroxyvitamin D insufficiency were highly prevalent in the precocious puberty.The significant deviations from the genotypes(CC,CA,AA)0f Apa I were found in the precocious puberty and health group,suggesting that VDR gene polymorphisms could be linked to higher susceptibility to precocious puberty.25-hydroxyvitamin D maybe have an effect on precocious puberty by Apa I polymorphisms of the VDR gene. |
