Gankyrin Expression In Gastric Cancer Tissue And Its Clinical Significance

Objective:To investigate the expression of gankyrin in gastric cancer tissue and tissue adjacent to the cancer(5cm distance from the tumor);To investigate the relationship between the expression of gankyrin in gastric cancer and clinicai date;To investigate the clinical significance of gankyrin expression in gastric cancer.Methods:Postoperative specimens of 118 patients with gastric cancer and its clinical date in general surgery department of Ganzhou people's hospital from January 2015 to September 2016 were collected.Detect the expression of gankyrin in 118 cases of gastric cancer tissues and 60 cases of 5cm from the tumor tissues adjacent to the cancer by Immunohistochemical SABC method.All date were chi-square test analyzed by SPSS13.0 statistical software,P<0.05 indicates a statistically significant difference.Results:The positive expression rate of gankyrin in 118 cases of gastric cancer tissues was 75.4%.The positive expression rates of gankyrin in gastric cancer tissues and tissues adjacent to the cancer were respectively 76.7% and 11.7% in 60 cases of same patient.The expression of gankyrin in gastric cancer was significantly higher than that of tissue adjacent to the cancer(X~2=51.400,P=0.000).The experssion of gankyrin in gastric cancer tissue with lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that without lymph node metastasis(X~2=8.167,P=0.004),The expression of gankyrin in gastric cancer tissue with intravascular cancer embolus was significantly higher than that without intravascular cancer embolus(X~2=8.331,P=0.004),The expression of gankyrin in stage ?-?gastric cancer tissue was significantly higher than that of stage?-?gastric cancer tissue in TNM stage(X~2=9.389,P=0.002),The expression of gankyrin in gastric cancer tissues with different degrees of differentiation was significantly different(X~2=7.843,P=0.020).The expression of gankyrin in gastric cancer was not related to sex,age,tumor size,invasion of the nerve tract and serum CEA(P>0.05).Conclusions:Gankyrin could be positive expressed in gastric cancer tissue and 5cm from the tumor tissue adjacent to the cancer,However the expression of gankyrin in gastric cancer tissur was significantly higher than that in tissue adjacent to the cancer,may be closely related to the occurrence and development of gastric cancer;The stronger expression of gankyrin in gastric cancer,may indicate that the higher the degree of malignancy,the greater the invasion,the worse prognosis;Gankyrin may be a potential target four drug therapy to restrict the growth of cancer cells and activate the apoptosis of cancer cells.
