Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the assessment of tidal breathing lung function by measuring the parameter of pulmonary function in early and corrected gestational age 6 months after birth in preterm infants.Comparing the development of pulmonary function before and after growth in different stages in order to evaluate the influence factors of pulmonary function in premature infants. Methods: The study involved 60 premature infants(born at 32-36+6 weeks gestation)from pediatric inpatient department in the People's Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region including 30 cases of premature infant group and 30 cases of late preterm infant group. The parameters of tidal breathing lung function of all infants were measured by using Jaeger Masterscreen lung function meter respectively in preterm birth within 10 days and corrected gestational age of up to 6 months. Results: 1.The RR of premature infants group 54.93 ± 11.27(times)was significantly higher than that of term infants group 46.90 ± 6.70(times),(P<0.05);The levels of premature infants group PTEF(38.60 ± 7.49)? TEF75(36.03 ± 8.45)?TEF50(36.10 ± 7.18)and TEF25(27.05 ± 6.57)were lower than that of term infants group PTEF(60.67 ± 13.32)?TEF75(55.23 ± 13.25)? TEF50 58.67 ± 13.27)? TEF25(48.60 ± 10.60),which were statistically significant(p <0.05).The levels of premature infants group TPEF / VE(31.36 ± 9.74)?VPEF / VE(31.61 ± 7.64)were slightly lower than those of term infants group TPTEF / TE(40.62 ± 7.05)and VPEF / VE(38.32 ± 5.88),but no statistically significant(P> 0.05).2.There were no significant difference in TPTEF / TE?VPEF / VE?VT?VT / kg? RR?PTEF?TEF75?TEF50 and TEF25 between the Mid-term premature infants group and advanced premature infants group(P> 0.05).3.The parameters of TPEF / VE,VPEF / VE ?VT?PTEF?TEF75?TEF50 and TEF25 in Mid-term premature infants group corrected gestational age 6 months were significantly higher than that of time when born within 10 days(P <0.01).The RR 52.45 ± 12.22(times)of Mid-term premature infants group born within 10 days group was significantly higher than that of the group corrected gestational age of 6 months 35.55 ± 6.74(times)(P <0.01).4.The parameters of TPTEF / TE?VPEF / VE? VT?PTEF? TEF75?TEF50 and TEF25 in advanced premature infants group corrected gestational age 6 months were significantly higher than that of time when born within 10 days(P <0.01).The RR 51.60±10.19(times)of advanced premature infants group born within 10 days group was significantly higher than that of the group corrected gestational age of 6 months 36.47±8.10(times)(P <0.01).Conclusions: 1.The respiratory rate was increased rapidly, lower expiratory flow rate and high airway resistance in premature infants.2.The lung function parameter of premature infants were similar to that of term infants group.3.Tidal breathing lung function in preterm infants were change with age.4.There were likely to be clinical value of tidal lung function test in the evaluation of lung development in preterm infants.
