Objective: Through the analysis of ralationship between postoperative length of stay and perioperative factors,To investigate the possible risk factors associated with Fast Track surgery in primary total hip arthroplasty and to provide references for the developing of enhanced recovery strategy of patients underwent total hip arthroplasty. Methods: A retrospective analysis was made on the clinical data of 272 patients who underwent primary total hip arthroplasty from January 2013 to December 2015,postoperative length of stay(LOS)was regarded as observed result, gender, age, types of disease, types of anesthesia, operation time, intraoperative and postoperative blood loss, total blood loss, blood transfusion, preoperative and postoperative hemoglobin, preoperative and postoperative serum albumin, postoperative pain score were analyzed as possible risk factors in the study.Multivariate linear regression was conducted for significant risk factors derived from the univariate analysis. Results: Univariate analysis shows that gender, age, operation time, preoperative and postoperative hemoglobin, postoperative serum albumin, blood transfusion, postoperative pain score were significantly associated with patients' postoperative length of stay.Multivariate linear regression analysis shows that age, operation time, transfusion, pain score were independent risk factors for postoperative length of stay. Conclusion: Age,operation time, blood transfusion and postoperative pain score influence patients' postoperative length of stay and they are the independent risk factors of enhanced recovery in primary total hip arthroplasty.
