Purpose: This study uses 3.0T MR SSFP sequence to measure the left ventricular parameters of healthy Han Chinese, and evaluate the feasibility of related technologies, and analyze the influencing factors on the related reference values of left ventricular, and provide the range of reference values of different age and gender in healthy Han Chinese for clinical practice and scientific research.Method: 100 volunteers had magnetic resonance scanning at the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College. The left ventricular end-diastolic volume(EDV),end-systolic volume(ESV),stroke volume(SV),left ventricular myocardial mass(MM),ejection fraction(EF),cardiac output(CO)were obtained through post-processing software. The results in the form of mean±standard deviation. After normalization with the body surface area(BSA),their standardized indices(EDVi,ESVi,SVi,respectively)were analyzed and compared at different ages.Result: There were exist obvious difference in left ventricular EDV,ESV,SV,MM,EF and CO between gender.Males has significantly greater EDV(126±13ml vs.111±14ml,P<0.001),ESV(45±5 ml vs.37±4 ml,P<0.001),SV(81±9 ml vs.74±12 ml,P=0.002),MM(93±13g vs.68±8g,P<0.001),CO(6±1L/min vs.5±1 L/min,P<0.05).Females has greater EF(64±2% vs.67±3%,P<0.001).After normalization with the body surface area, there were not exist difference in left ventricular EDVi(75±6 ml/m2 vs.72±7 ml/m2,P>0.05)?SVi(48±5 ml/m2 vs.48±6 ml/m2,P>0.05)betweengender.Males has greater ESVi(27±2 ml/m2 vs.24±2 ml/m2,P<0.001),Mi(55±6 g/m2 vs.44±3 g/m2,P<0.001)than females.Age was negatively associated with left ventricular EDV(r=-0.6,P<0.001),EDVi(r=-0.6,P<0.001)? ESV(r=-0.4,P<0.001),ESVi(r=-0.4,P<0.001),SV(r=-0.6,P<0.001),SVi(r=-0.6,P<0.001).Body surface area(BSA)was positively correlated with left ventricular EDV(r=0.8,P<0.001),ESV(r=0.8,P<0.001),SV(r=0.7,P<0.001),CO(r=0.7,P<0.001)and MM(r=0.9,P<0.001).Conclusion:1?3.0T MR can provide data for left ventricular volume and systolic function in healthy volunteers.2 ? The EDV,ESV,SV,MM and CO in the left ventricle were significantly higher in male than in female.3?Left ventricular EDV,EDVi,ESV,ESVi,SV and SVi were negatively correlated with age.4 ? Left ventricular EDV,ESV,SV,CO and MM were positively correlated with BSA.
