Objective :To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics of the primary pulmonary NK/T-cell lymphoma,and to improve our understanding of the disease and decrease the misdiagnosis.Method:One case of primary pulmonary Extranodal nasal-type NK/T-cell lymphoma(PPNKTCL)with massses and cavities confirmed by pathology in The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University was presented.We reviewed the relevant literatures associated with clinicopathological characteristics,immunohistochemical phenotype,clinical feature,the EB virus was detected by in situ hybridization,imaging manifestation.Results : An adult male patient presented with fever and cough,was ineffective to antibiotics,antituberculous and hormonotherapy.CT imaging showed multiple mission-shaped opacities and cavities in bilateral lung.Histological observation showed that lymphocytes in bronchi and parenchyma of the lung and associated with necrosis.Immunohistochemical results showed that CD3,CD5,CD4,CD7,granzyme B and 50-60% Ki-67 were positive in this patient,while CD20,CD79 a,Pax-5 were negative.Positive EBER wasdetected by in situ hybridization.The patient died the second month after the diagnosis.All were corresponded with the relevant literatures.Conclusion : The clinical manifestation and CT finding of the Primary pulmonary natural killer/T-cell lymphoma is nonspecific.It is diagnosed by the clinicopathologic characteristics,immunophenotyped such as CD56 and EBV in situ hybridization.The treatment include surgery,radiotherapy,chemotherapy andcombinations.The prognosis is poor.
