Objective:To study the effects of adlay and its separated components(protein of adlay,polysaccharide of adlay,starch of adlay,water decoction of adlay,fatty oil of adlay)on the rats of yin-deficiency syndrome of nephrogenic edema in rats to explore the flavor of adlay in yin-deficiency syndrome of nephrogenic edema.Methods:1.The model of yin-deficiency syndrome of nephrogenic edema in rats was induced with by be gavaged thyroxine tablets solution and be injected adriamycin solution in the caudal veins.The general conditions,body weight,water intake,urine volume,autonomous activities,qualitative urine protein were observed and used to evaluate the model;2.With the methods of biochemical immunity,Elisa,histomorphology,the urine protein quantitation,renal function,total serum protein,serum albumin,T3 of serum,T4 of serum,c AMP of serum,c GMP of serum and the histomorphology of the kidney were detected in rats with the model yin-deficiency syndrome of nephrogenic edema with adaly and its separated components.To explore the pharmacological efficacy and material basis of adlay.Results:1.Compared with the rats in control group,the general conditions became worse,the body weight significantly decreased(P<0.01)in rats in the model group,the water intake significantly increased(P<0.01),the urine volume significantly decreased(P<0.01),the urine protein qualitative was specified standards,various yin-deficiency syndromes were obvius;2.Compared with the rats in model control group,the general conditions were improved in different degrees,the body weight was increased(P<0.05)in rats in adaly group and its components groups;the water intake increased symptom was improved(P<0.01),the urine volume decreased symptom was improved(P<0.01,P<0.05),the Sc R was reduced(P<0.01,P<0.05),the urine protein quantitation was significantly decreased(P<0.01,P<0.05),the total serum protein and serum albumin were significantly increased(P<0.01),the T3 of serum and T4 of serum were significantly decreased(P<0.01),the c AMP of serum were significantly decreased and c GMP of serum were significantly increased(P<0.01,P<0.05);3.Compared with the rats in model control group,the conditions of structure and form of glomerulus and renal tubules were improved in different degrees in rats in adaly group and its components groups,protein of adlay and fatty oil of adlay play a significant role among them.Conclusions:1.The model of yin-deficiency syndrome of nephrogenic edema in rats showed most the yin-deficiency syndrome of nephrogenic edema characteristics and comply with the syndrome.2.Protein of adlay,polysaccharide of adlay,starch of adlay,water decoction of adlay,fatty oil of adlay can improve nephrogenic edema status in the model of yin-deficiency syndrome of nephrogenic edema in rats from different aspects.protein of adlay,polysaccharide of adlay,fatty oil of adlay play a significant effect,starch of adlay,water decoction of adlay have no significant effect.3.Protein of adlay,polysaccharide of adlay,starch of adlay,water decoction of adlay,fatty oil of adlay can improve yin-deficiency syndrome of nephrogenic status in the model of yin-deficiency syndrome of nephrogenic edema in rats.Protein of adlay play the most obvious effect in this respect,polysaccharide of adlay play the second obvious effect,water decoction of adlay is worst.
