Clinical Evaluation On Quality Of Life In Patients With EGFR Wild-type NSCLC Treated With Lung Tumor Suppression Paste

Objective: To compare and analyze the differences between the two treatment schemes of lung cancer suppression paste combined with chemotherapy and chemotherapy alone on the quality of life in patients with EGFR wild-type NSCLC,To further explore the influence mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)based on lung cancer suppression paste on the quality of life and the overall health status of patients with lung cancer.Methods: Patients with lung cancer who met the entry criteria,the chemotherapy group and chemotherapy plus traditional Chinese medicine group with 80 cases in each group.According to the survey results,analysis of changes of the two groups after treatment of TCM syndrome score and QLQ-LC43 quality of life scale score changes and the changes of volume,KPS and weight change and lesions in patients with drug toxicity.Results:(1)Lesion change: There was no significant difference between the two groups in tumor reduction,has the difference in stable rate(P < 0.05),the stable rate to chemotherapy plus traditional Chinese medicine group was higher.(2)Changes of TCM syndrome score: The score of chemotherapy plus traditional Chinese medicine group was lower than that of simple chemotherapy group,and statistical treatment was significant(P < 0.05).(3)KPS and weight change: The effect of chemotherapy plus traditional Chinese medicine group was better than that of the traditional Chinese medicine group in improve functional status and maintain weight.(4)QLQ-LC43(including QLQ-C30 and QLQ-LC13)quality of life scale: After treatment the scores of two groups were higher than those of diarrhea and arthralgia,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05);after treatment,the score of economic difficulties increased,which indicated that the cost of treatment increased the economic burden of patients,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05);in pain,shortness of breath,insomnia,cough scores were reduced and Comparison between groups was significant(P < 0.05),explain the two regimens in the mitigation of these symptoms have better effect,pain,shortness of breath,insomnia,cough in TCM group was significantly improved;Chemotherapy plus traditional Chinese medicine group can improve the patient's role,emotion,cognition,social function,improve the overall health status,in improving fatigue,loss of appetite,chest pain and other aspects of better effect(P < 0.05).(5)The two groups had statistical significance in hematology(Z=-2.450,P=0.014)and gastrointestinal tract(Z=-2.247,P= 0.025)side effects,the results showed that lung tumor suppression paste can effectively reduce the incidence of hematology and gastrointestinal tract adverse reactions.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the urinary system(Z=-0.252,P=0.801)and other(Z=-0.767,P=0.443)adverse reactions.Conclusion: The auxiliary treatment of traditional Chinese medicine(lung tumor suppression paste)on the basis of chemotherapy,the lung cancer related symptoms and TCM Syndromes of patients can be significantly improved,the growth of lung cancer was also inhibited compared with chemotherapy alone,stabilize the patient's weight,ease the weight loss due to lung cancer,compared with the quality of life of patients after chemotherapy has been improved and can maintain a good functional status,the incidence of adverse reactions also decreased.
