Objective: To investigate the clinical presentation, bone marrow morphology and immune and genetic phenotype of T lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL) and observe the therapeutic effects of cord blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for T-LBL.Methods: Retrospective analysis the clinical data of a T-LBL case, which is successfully treated with allogeneic cord blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and achieved five years disease-free survival, in the department of hematology of the third affiliated hospital of Kunming Medical University (Tumor hospital of Yunnan province). We also review the related literature and discussed the results we obtained here to analyze the diagnosis and treatment process.Results: 1 .The patient had been preliminarily diagnosed with T-LBL and treated with 4 cycles of CVAD chemotherapy, which resulting in a partial dismiss of the disease. 2. Then the patient was treated with cord blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and good outcome was achieved.The all the examination items showed the complete remission of the disease. The patient was in stable condition with any recurrent signs.Conclusion: Good therapeutic effects of cord blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in patients with T-LBL.
