Objective:To investigate the clinical, histomorphology, immunogenetics and more characteristics of peripheral T-cell lymphoma. And moreover, the role of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for peripheral T-cell lymphoma would be discussed.Methods: Retrospective analysis the clinical data of a peripheral T-cell lymphoma case, which is successfully treated with autologous peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and obtained five years disease-free survival, in the hematology at the third affiliated hospital of Kunming Medical University (Tumor hospital of Yunnan province). And combined with relevant literatures to analyze and discuss the diagnosis and treatment process of the case.Results: 1.The patient had been preliminarily diagnosed with peripheral T-cell lymphoma, and was treated with 1 cycle CHOP chemotherapy regimen. But the patient’s disease is without relief and moreover progress trend. 2.After treated with autologous peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, the patient got good therapeutic effect, and all the inspection’s review results suggest that patient achieved complete remission. Up to now, it is more than 5 years after transplantation, the patient is in stable condition and with no signs of recurrence.Conclusion: Peripheral T-cell lymphoma treated with autologous peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation can obtain a better curative effect.
