Effect Of Peer Support Education In The Community Education Management Of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Objective: To study the role of educational management peer support education of 2 type DM?diabetes mellitus?in the community.Methods: Screening Guilin city Diecai community health service center of 200 diabetes patients serve as the research object,which were randomly divided into peer education group and the control group,the baseline follow-up.The control group give the routine management of diabetes education,peer support education group give the routine management of diabetes education and peer support education management.Results: After the peer group for peer support education,weight,BMI,blood glucose and postprandial 2 h blood sugar,glycosylated hemoglobin,TG,TC,DM self-management behavior,DM related issues,the WHO happiness index is improved than before education,thus it is superior to control group,the difference was statistically significant?P < 0.05?.Conclusions: Peer support education may improve diabetes self-management behavior and WHO-5 happiness index,reduce the related questions of patients with diabetes,acquiring the effect of controlling weight,falling blood sugar blood lipid and glycated hemoglobin?HbA₁c?.It is suitable for people with diabetes education management,to establish the integration of pattern “hospital-community-patient” diabetes education management,which is worth promoting.
